a-z (g)i-dle nsfw headcanons: kim minnie (nicha yontarak)
WARNING: smut, small fluff, switch!minnie, switch!reader, gen (fem main) reader, male genitalia mention, all fiction ofc
A= Aftercare (what theyâre like after the act)
she's not as sweet as you'd think lol. she'll be very sleep when you wake up from your sessions though
B= Body part (favorite body part their own or their lovers)
she likes her mouth, especially on you. as for you, she likes your hips. anything that shows off your waist makes her physically drool.
C= Cum (anything that has to do with it)
do it all over her. she loves that shit everywhere, especially on her tits.
D= Dirty secret (Pretty self explanatory)
she would one day want you to gag her while forcing her to cum again and again. or force her to fuck you until her hips turn red. but since you like to sub, it could never happen :(
E= Experience (do they know what theyâre doing)
she has enough experience to make you feel good. had penetrative sex? maybe. oral? definitely.
F= Favorite position
doggy style is always fun, but her absolute favorite is actually not a position. she likes to see you get yourself off as she watches and taunts you, or herself getting off as you're forced to watch. humiliating exhibitionism.
G= Goofy (how serious are they)
during sex the only time she'd ever be slightly playful is through kissing or overstimulation. but moreover she takes intimate time very seriously.
H= Hair (grooming habits)
i feel like she has a small bush that she only grows out for freaky deaky times, especially if you say that you love it.
I= Intimacy (in the moment romantic or rough/dirty)
she likes it rough, mainly because sex for her is playtime. if you ask her to be soft ste would. for like only one time
J= Jack off (do they masturbate and how often)
*imagining her with a cock* no because she only gets horny when you're around, so she'll just call you over and propose to fuck lol
K= Kink (kinks what they like possibly unusual)
sadism and masochism, especially scratch marks and spankings. she just loves them you know?
L= Location (where they like to get it on)
the answer is bedding. a couch, blankets on the floor, duvet, bed. as long as it's cushioned enough she'll want you.
M= Motivation (things that makes them tick/turn ons)
either bratty behavior or you begging her. if you beg her i promise she'll give you what you want.
N= No (turnoffs or absolutely wonât do)
no harsh markings. she wants you to be red, not blue, purple or gray. if she found out that she broke skin, she'd lose it; kissing the areas, treathing them, apologizing profusely to you and then isolating herself for a while to reflect on how 'horrible she is'. please assure that you're fine :((
O= Oral (receiving or giving and how skillful they are)
headmaster. she loves to give a lot more than receive tbh. like sometimes she'll sit you down and rile you up just to suck your cock and balls/ clit and lips. will leave you shaking at the end
P= Pace (how fast they are and how long they last in bed)
her pace is steady, sometimes teasingly slow to agonizingly fast. unpredictable fr.
Q= Quickie (do they prefer fast and hard)
never happens she loves taking her tome with you.
R= Risk (do they like to try new things)
shet so freaky that i bet she's been to orgy parties and came out the longest running person there.
S= Stamina (how many times they can go and how long each round lasts)
girlie can last, and i mean last last. once she tired you out after having three hours of constant sex-- and she was doing most of the work!
T= Toys (are they game for using sex toys on themselves or lovers)
other than a vibrator and maybe a strap, i don't think she's a toy person. her fingers and tongue are the toys lol
U= Unfair (how do they tease or do they enjoy suspense themselves)
unfair is her middle name. nicha unfair yontarak. kim unfair minnie. loves to see you cry from her constantly teasing and edging you.
V= Volume (are they loud, what sounds, and do they talk)
grunts and groans more st of the time, especially when she's doing most of the fucking. yells melodically when she cums.
W= Wild card (random sincannon of any sort)
your ass was stinging from the slaps, hut you couldn't help but moan once she let one last blow to the butt hit you. honestly you fell in love, and so did she when she saw you crave for more.
X= X-ray (whatâs down below in dem pants)
long and thick and proud of it. you might cry if you see it fully erect :((
Y= Yearning (sexdrive level)
surprisingly she doesn't long for sex that much. only when you are is when she feels horny.
Z= Zzzz (do they sleep after if so how quickly after)
is a caring queen. she knows she tires you out so expect her to treat you well and even baby you. if you one day top her, expect her to whine and become the cutest baby for you :(
hope you guys enjoyed this! im honestly not feeling the a-z like i was before, but i already started, so im gonna try to continue it til all the girls are done.

Sun's Nightmare
An installment for the My Sunflower au!!
Tw// implied death, slight self harm as a robot
Sun tossed and turned in his sleep, grunting and whining as he struggled to get comfortable. The stress of everything around him was catching up and he couldn't stand it anymore⌠Wake up, wake up, wake up!
Sun sat up with a cry, "Eclipse!" He panted and grabbed at his rays before a comforting familiar voice spoke up.
"Sunny, are you okay? Breathe with me, dearestâŚ"
Sun looked up at the tall plush animatronic. "E-Eclipse⌠'Clipsy!! You- You're- you're- you're not dead- I- I-"
"Breathe, love, breathe⌠tell me what happened slowly⌠take your time."
Sun rubbed away the oil leaking from his eyes as he nodded. He started to recount everything that had happened up until that point⌠yet something felt⌠off.
Eclipse gently placed a hand on Sun's shoulder and smiled. "Death? Replacement? I think you just had a nightmare, dear Sunflower⌠C'mon, let's go cuddle~"
Sun sighed and agreed. "Y⌠yeah, just a nightmareâŚ"
As soon as Sun stood up, the air felt different. The daycare was already dim for the night, but where were the kids? Had they already gone home? Why hadn't Eclipse woken him up? He took Eclipse's hand carefully and followed. It felt⌠coldâŚ
He started to grow scared fast as the more the two walked, the darker the daycare seemed to get. It was like walking into a void. The smell of mildew and rot too over his sensors and he looked up at Eclipse. He gasped as he saw rust, rips and tears, mold, and even stuffing, the jingling of the bells having stopped from being shattered.
No, no, NO!
Sun yanked his hand away, nearly screaming as Eclipse started to turn to look at him⌠"S u n f l o w e r" this thing roared at him.
Sun shrieked and fell to his knees, closing his eyes, and clawing desperately at his rays. The screeching stopped
"Sun? Sun- SUN!" A new voice called.
The mentioned animatronic looked up with fear, only to be met with the blue eyes of the new Moon attendant. "I was wondering when you would get up! The mechanics are here! You don't want to keep them waiting do you?"
"WhaâŚ?" Sun looked around, flinching at the sudden bright lights of the daycare. "IâŚ" He trailed off, spying the two said mechanics. The same ones whoâŚ
"W-wait- N-no! W-why?!" The daytime attendant scrambled to get up.
"You didn't hear?"
"W⌠what?" Sun looked at Moon, who's eyes now glowed a bright red.
"You're being decommissioned! Glitching, crying, powering off at random, and not to mention setting a bad example for the kids by treating me like an outcast. âŚSaid that she doesn't need you anymore~! So now I get to take care of the kids. We might even get a new attendant!"
Moon said a name, but Sun didn't quite hear over the sound of grinding gears in his head. This wasn't right! Did he really power off at random? When did that start happening? A new attendant? Decommissioned?! No, no, no, this wasn't right! Sun backed away as Moon's eyes flashed purple, not taking long to try and bolt out of the area.
He had to find the others! And fast! What-
He skid to a halt as cage bars enclosed the entire daycare. He was now trapped with no choice be to go with the mechanics.
A faint voice called in the distance "Join me, SunflowerâŚ"
Sun fell once more to the ground, only for it to crumble away. He fell⌠and this time he woke up.
----------------
"AH-! N-NO!!" Sun screamed, sitting straight up. This action alone startled Moon from his own dozing.
"Ah- huh? Sun?" Moon looked over before crawling to sit in front of the daytime bot.
Sun yelped and backed away, hitting a shelf that dropped an empty box onto his head. He felt that⌠He felt that!!
"I'm awake-!"
"I can see that- You⌠okay? You look panicked. Nightmare?" Moon asked from where he was, knowing Sun would only panic if he came closer without warning.
"I⌠Y-yeah⌠U-uhâŚ" He took a deep breath in, and sighed it out. "I'm alright. I⌠I just had a bad one. More of a night terror if you will⌠One of those dreams you couldn't wake up fromâŚ" Sun, explained.
"I see⌠You want to⌠Talk about it?"
Moon watched for any signs of discomfort as he slowly made his way to Sun, making sure the bot could see him. When he tensed up, Moon backed off. Sun simply shook his head.
"No? Alright. Do you want to play some games? I installed a few to the computers downstairs."
Sun nodded and shakily stood up "Y⌠yeah I'll do that⌠Where are the kids?"
"Already have left for the day. You were out for a long time. I assumed you drained your battery, so I came up here to plug you up. Good thing I did, huh?"
"Haha⌠Yeah⌠Thank you, Moon, for taking care of the kids⌠I know you don't like the bright lightsâŚ"
"It's fine! You needed your rest, and that new staff member helped as well!"
"Ah⌠good. I'm⌠gonna go play some games⌠Goodnight Ecl- MoonâŚ"
"...Goodnight, SunâŚ"

What does the color blue taste like? blue gatorade
What is the most beautiful thing youâve ever seen? Californian ancient redwood forest. Or Lake Tahoe in wintertime. Seeing trees so big and wide itâs like staring up at a skyscraper was overwhelming. Lake tahoe is just a beautiful area. Skiing there was one of the best places Iâve ever been. On the last day we were there it snowed over a foot of dry, soft snow. Itâs hard to comprehend just how stiflingly silent it is during snowfall like that. Itâs really beautiful.
What is the stupidest thing youâve ever done? When I was in my senior year in High School I went to my first and only house party. Which was full of drunk, underrage kids in a house with 0 adults. ( and it was the 4th of july. ) The cops showed up and me and my friend I was there with were in the back of the house, so we bolted and didnât get caught. When we looped around the house, we noticed another cop car with one cop up like fifteen feet away up the street. They hadnât noticed us so, me and my drunk friend lit some of the fireworks we had and tossed em into the cop car right through the window. You can guess what happened after tho the cop didnât catch me or my friend (we were both in high school track/long distance running team). Also, ACAB.
Stupidest thing youâve seen/heard someone else do/say? My sister used to think Palm Trees were fake. Also she married a MAGA head. Both of those are pretty stupid.
Hyperfixation song? kamikaze and Truncheon by The Royal They
Is there any meaning behind your profile picture and/or username? I really like Izutsumi from Dungeon Meshi. her design gives me gender envy and I relate deeply to working through the trauma of having a shitty situation growing up. and I think Alley Cat is a fun way to disguise my name while also having my name on full display
Dream career as a child? Something involving the physical sciences. Not kidding when I say I was doing science experiments for fun when I was 6.
Dream career as an adult? Something with computers. Or gaming critique. Weâll see how it goes.
Thoughts on cilantro? Spicy Lettuce
Have you ever been banned from a location and if so, why? Yeah, when I was a senior I used to work at fast casual local place in my hometown. It was basically half a step nicer than mcdâs or any other fast food place but also only had 3 locations in this one town I lived. Anyway, we close at 9:30 on weeknights, and itâs finals weeks. Everyone who works there is a high school student (Because it was legal to pay us below min wage and the owner was a cheap fucking loser). General manager wants to stay open past closing to get a âbig day of salesâ. Currently, I was the only one there who knew how to work the kitchen so im making all the orders. When another order rolls in at 9:50 I tell him im not going to make anymore. Ppl have finals the next day and need to be in class at 7:30 am. He tells me to leave and never come back, even to buy food. Fuck that guy tho.
What is your cursed food combination? Pineapple pizza, apparently.
Trans rights? I support trans rights and trans wrongs fellow 196 refugees are welcome to jump in but im not tagging anyone
âI just came from r/196â ask game
Saw another post. I think I should invite y'all to one of our longstanding traditions. Answer the questions then tag 10 (or more) people. I'll go first.
Name? Frankie
Pronouns and gender? he/they/it, transmasc
Sexuality? Lesbian
Country? USA
Top 5 fandoms? Bungou Stray Dogs, Cosmere, All for the Game, Fundiesnark (not a series but I'm too deep in it to not consider it a fandom), .....the tornado fandom? (they're my special interest)
What is your Most forbidden snack? The preserved bones at the Atlanta Bodies Exhibition. They looked so crunchy...
Would you pet a bug? If it's big enough, it is pettable.
Share a weird fact/story about yourself with the class. I like to drive around rural areas and photograph old, sometimes abandoned locations in the dead of night. I have been literally chased out of towns by foot and by car on two separate occasions. The second time this happened, "See You Again" by Miley Cyrus came up on shuffle and that's the soundtrack my friend and I tore out of town to. Also every "guy" I've dated except for my most recent ex (who has big egg energy) is a lesbian now.
What does the color blue taste like? Creme brulee
What is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? The appalachian mountains of Tennessee in the middle of summer. There's kudzu everywhere. On the backroads, there were several old, dilapidated Baptist churches barely hanging to the side of the mountain. I wonder how many of them were still in use.
What is the stupidest thing you've ever done? Short version: my friend's house almost got broken into by this dude who'd been stalking us for months while we were home alone. Instead of calling the cops, we decided to confront him with a bow and arrow (me), a hatchet, and a baseball bat (him). The plan was that if it went badly, we would simply throw his corpse into one of the many lakes in the neighborhood and let the alligators eat his remains (this was Florida). Why? Because we were afraid of having our home-alone privileges revoked. Luckily for us all, the guy fucked off and we never saw him again.
Stupidest thing you've seen/heard someone else do/say? My ex thought that Jackalopes were real. Also, a nurse I was doing rotations with apparently thought that "Witness Protection" was for Jehovah's Witnesses.
Hyperfixation song? Young Enough + Bleach by Charly Bliss
Is there any meaning behind your profile picture and/or username? Profile pic; I'm transmasc and I'm currently obsessed with TriStamp. Username; It was my fake internet name when I was like 13. I won't change it because I want my mutuals to recognize me, and because I do have a viral post associated with this name.
Dream career as a child? Doctor (funnily enough I'm now in nursing school)
Dream career as an adult? Professional Jester. Not a comedian. I just want to be some weird little guy who dresses silly and you can hire me to roast your boss at work parties.
Thoughts on cilantro? Delicious
Have you ever been banned from a location and if so, why? I honestly can't remember? Probably... but in recent memory I've mainly banned people from places.
What is your cursed food combination? Pineapple on a hotdog with grilled onions. It Slaps.
Trans rights? TRANS RIGHTS
Tagging: @rocket-mankoi @mostlymarco @atleast8courics @jazzlike39 @gemsweater72 @limbobilbo @ameliaaltare @redcrane112 @theoneofwhomisblue @twinkenjoyer @theultimatecarp and anyone else who wants to jump on

A Favor: Part Twenty-Eight

Masterlist
a/n: the beginning of the end :,) if u made it this far i think ur cool

âWhere do you see yourself in five years?â Lana asks.
Nesta closes her eyes, letting the picture swirl and take shape in her mind.
This time last year, she would have imagined nothing. Nothing but a desk in a busy law office, and maybe a nice apartment if she was lucky. That would be it. But now she seesâŚ
âSomewhere with good food and good music,â she muses. âMaybe a sea breeze.â The sun-faded buildings of Portofino fade into the foreground of her imagination. âThere are lots of people with me,â she hears the sound of children shrieking and Cassianâs rumbling laughter, âbut itâs okay, because I love every one of them.â Her eyes open. âIs that a good answer?â
A near invisible smile tugs at the corners of Lanaâs lips. âYou tell me, Nesta. Do you like what you see?â
âItâs a little too cinematic if you ask me,â Nesta says nonchalantly, picking up her bag from the ground, âbut I suppose all dreams are that way.â
âItâs a good dream,â Lana says. âA worthy dream, and one you deserve to chase.â
Nesta shrugs lightly, not too worried about the burden of the future for once. âMaybe I will.â
âIn that case, congratulations on completing your final therapy session,â Lana says, setting her notebook aside. âYouâve made some amazing progress this year.â
Nesta gives her therapist her signature whatâs-wrong-with-you look. âIâm going on vacation, not firing you for good. Iâll see you again in two months.â
âTwo months can be enough to lose all your progress, if you forget everything you went through to get here.â
Nesta isnât stupid. She knows that she isnât suddenly desperate to make babies or be maid of honor at her sistersâ weddings or some bullshit. She knows that the image she just dreamed up, with Cassian and kids and her unburdened heart, is likely more than five years away. If it happens at all, it could be ten, even twenty years of hard work away.
Sheâs not nearly finished growing yet. âIâll see you in two months, Lana,â she repeats.
Lana smiles at her fully this time. âEnjoy your summer, Nesta.â

The air is different in the Smokies.
Nesta rolls the truck windows down so she can inhale it, relish it. Wind whips her hair every which way as they drive down the winding freeway cutting through the lush mountains, and something about the look on her face makes Cassian chuckle and press down on the accelerator.
Nesta watches the red needle on the speedometer cross ninety, then one hundred. She can barely feel the June heat with how fast theyâre going.
In the end, it was Feyre and Elain that reached out and invited her to the Tennessee summer home. Cassian had made it obvious that he wouldnât push her to go if she didnât want to, and at first she really didnât want to. But Feyre had looked so hopeful when she asked Nesta to come with them, and even Elain had revealed a glimmer of eagerness that Nesta would say yes.
So against all odds, she agreed to go.
Exchanging one mountain home for another isnât much of a getaway, but Nesta canât help but be excited. Even with the unhappy memories of her childhood, she loves these hills more than any other.
The pure exhilaration of being back in Tennessee overcomes her at some point during the drive, knocking her out in the passenger seat where she sits. In her drowsy state, she distantly hears the windows being rolled up, before feeling Cassianâs hand guide her head to rest against the glass. The rest of the drive is warm and sunny, enough to lull her into a deep sleep.
The next thing Nestaâs aware of is the crunch of gravel and the feeling of the truck tires slowing to a stop. Fingers brush against her heated cheek, and then Cassian is murmuring at her to wake up.
Blinking her eyes open, Nesta twists around to see their destination.
For a moment, she thinks sheâs still dreaming.
Welcome to Holly House,â Cassian says with a grin. The house in question is quaint and sprawling at the same time, the way most upper class Southerners like their houses. The whole thing gleams with a fresh coat of white paint under the afternoon sun, complemented by a sky blue wraparound porch. Colonial style windows and proud columns decorating the facade of the building makes it look like the setting of a fairy tale.
Beyond it, Nesta can see cherry blossoms. Pink, fluttering cherry blossoms that fly off their branches and swirl through the air, some of them disappearing into the thick woods behind the house. Woods that Nesta has walked countless times before.
âThe rest of the guys wonât get here until tomorrow afternoon,â Cassian is saying to her, âso we have the whole place to ourââ
Nesta isnât listening anymore. She unbuckles her seatbelt and shoves open the truck door, hobbling outside on unsteady feet to make sure she isnât hallucinating things. But no, this isâŚ
âCherrywood,â she breathes, eyes wide in disbelief.
Cassian gets out of the truck, coming up beside Nesta to slip his hand into her shorts pocket. âWhatâs wrong? You okay?â
âThis is Rhysandâs summer home?â Nesta points at the house. âThis place?â
Cassian looks around at the building grounds in confusion. âHas been for the last two decades, yeah.â
Itâs been eleven years since she last stepped foot on these grounds.
With wonderment in her voice, she utters to Cassian, âIâve been here before.â
At his puzzled look, she explains, âI lived just on the other side of those woods.â She points to the trees. âThereâs an old cracked road that hasnât been maintained since it was first paved, and you can follow it straight to the poor side of town. Whenever I wanted to get away, I would come down that road and trek through the woods, and Iâd end up here. I stopped coming becauseâŚâ she trails off.
Because she got caught that one time.
Cassian seems to realize it at the same moment as her. His hand slips out of her pocket. âYouâŚâ
Nesta remembers a tall boy with shocked eyes and shaggy hair, and she shakes her head slowly in forceful denial. It canât be true. Itâs too much of a coincidence.
But he points at her, then her feet. âYouâwith the size six Converse,â he sputters. âIt was you.â
Before Nesta can confirm or deny it, he grabs her by the wrist and starts tugging her along, up the porch stairs and inside the house.
Even with Rhysand and Feyreâs renovations, it looks undeniably the same as all those years ago. The living room is to her right and the farmhouse style kitchen and dining area is to the left, though she speeds by it all as Cassian pulls her farther inside the house, to the closet beneath the curving stairs.
He lets go of her hand to search the small closet, muttering, âI know they were here somewhere.â But the closet looks like it was stripped empty for renovations, with only bolts in the walls indicating that shoe racks used to hang there.
Cassian turns and heads for the stairs, and Nesta blindly follows him. She also wants to go upstairs, wants to see if the bay window looking out onto the garden has stayed the same.
Like he read her mind, he leads her straight to the room she used to spend hours reading in. Itâs smaller than all the other bedrooms in the house, but itâs always been her favorite because of the view.
As Cassian keeps looking for whatever it is heâs looking for, upturning boxes and checking beneath furniture, Nesta drifts toward the bay window. She looks from the cherry blossom trees outside, to the full-sized bed, to Cassian, and a weight drops even heavier in her gut. She has to reach out and grip the edge of the dresser for support.
Finally, Cassian pops out of the closet victorious. In his hand are a pair of ragged shoes that Nesta hasnât worn in a long, long time.
He comes over and drops them with a thud at her feet.
âWhose room is this?â she asks with a rough voice, still staring down at the shoes.
âMine,â he answers simply.
âOh.â She met him before. She met him before.
When Nesta dares to look up and meet Cassianâs eyes, what she finds there nearly robs her of breath: wonder, astonishment, and unwavering fealty. He breaks into sudden wholehearted laughter, which dazes her even more.
âWhatâs so funny?â she demands.
Cassian gets out between laughs, âWhat was it Rhysand said about Feyre? When they found out they were close to crossing paths when they were younger?â
Nestaâs earth-tilting shock slowly slips away, replaced by a stern look. âDonât say it.â
He pretends to remember. âI think it was fate.â A wicked smirk pulls at his lips at Nestaâs resigned sigh. âBut I have another word for it, too.â
âDonât say that, either.â She pleadingly holds up her hands, only for Cassian to snatch one out of the air and intertwine his fingers with hers.
âSoulmate,â he says quietly, now less amused.
Nesta swallows thickly, not having any words for him. All she knows is that he is never going to let her live this down.
âImagine if weâd gone to the same high school,â Cassian says to her later that afternoon as they lounge in his old room. âFuck, I couldâve saved myself so much time with all those random girls.â Theyâve been swapping childhood stories for the past hour, as if they might find more instances in their history of a red string tying them together.
Nesta doesnât need coincidences or fateful run-ins to know that a string has always been wrapped around her ring finger, pulling her to Colorado and to that cabin. But for Cassianâs sake, sheâll gladly amuse him. âI would have been a freshman while you were a senior,â she says matter-of-factly. âIt never could have happened.â
He hums in thought, head propped up in his hand, elbow propped up against the bay window seat. âMaybe if you were older. You would have been the smart, quiet girl, and Iâd have been the player jock, and as soon as we locked eyes in math class, Iâd be head over heels in love with you.â
Nesta cackles from where she sits in the window seat above him. âNow youâre just writing fanfiction.â
Cassian grins up at her but doesnât send a rebuttal her way. The conversation falls into a lull, until Nesta has to reach out and ask, âWhat are you thinking?â
His smile turns a little sad. âThat I wish we werenât doing this right before I leave for another country.â
Right. Thatâs whatâs been hanging over them the entire trip to Tennessee: that as soon as they get back to Colorado, Cassian is going to be on a plane to Milan.
Getting Keith OâConnell to quitâhow exactly Cassian went about accomplishing it, he still wonât tell Nestaâleft Rhysand at square one with his search for a team leader for his overseas venture.
When Cassian brought up the idea of taking the job to Nesta, he sounded like he hoped she would shoot him down, talk him out of it. He both wanted to go and was reluctant to leave, like his very soul was glued to his home and he didnât want to unstick himself.
So Nesta, being his home, had to do the unsticking for him. She nearly accepted the year-long Milan position herself for Cassianâs sake, and it took weeks of coaxing and convincing to put him at ease about the whole thing.
âBut we promised to go together for the first time,â he kept saying.
âWeâll still go together one day, and itâll still be our first time there with each other,â she reassured him.
Eventually, he relented to her and Rhysandâs pressures with a single condition. âIâll do six months. Not a year.â
Only Nesta knows deep down how much Cassian needs this opportunity. Though Cassian must know it a little bit too, because he wouldnât have taken the job if he didnât.
Nesta might have needed him in order to come out of her shell, but now he needs to get away from her in order to find his own shell. Something he can call his own, unburdened by his loyalties to the people he loves. So he can find who he wants to be for himself, without always being attached to her hip.
Rising to her feet, Nesta raises her arms in the air in a full body stretch. Her back and legs ache with being curled up in that window seat for so long without movement.
Dropping her arms, she holds out a hand to Cassian still sitting on the floor. âCome on,â she urges him. âLetâs go outside. I havenât seen a Smoky sunset in years.â
âBut itâs not evening yet,â he argues while taking her hand.
Outside, they explore the garden that leads into the woods while waiting for the sun to slink down the sky. Cherry blossoms ride the summer breeze wherever it takes them, resulting in Cassian sniffling and scratching at his neck as they walk hand in hand.
âRhysand wanted to take these trees down and replace them with a flower garden for Elain,â he tells Nesta as they walk. His sinuses sound clogged, but heâs refused to go back inside until heâs explained every inch of the land to Nesta. âI convinced him not to because it would ruin the view from my bedroom window. Didnât I make the right choice?â He throws a grin in her direction.
Nestaâs swallow is tight at that grin. âThe view from your room was always my favorite part about the entire place. So yes, you did good.â
His eyes widen at that tidbit of information, and she can almost see him tucking it away as more Soulmate Evidence.
They stroll through the woods for a while, and Nesta points out the path she would take to get to Cherrywoodâshe still insists on calling it Cherrywood, even when Cassian argues that the houseâs original name has been around since the sixties.
âShow me the rest of the way?â Cassian asks her, face lit up in boyish hope. âShow me where you ran away to that day I found you.â
Nesta almost expects the memory of the rundown apartment complex she grew up in to feel like being shoved into sludge: dirty, cold, and slimy. Instead, she finds she has no problem with looking back at her old home, no matter how many ugly memories she holds from there.
However, the dappled sunlight streaming in through the trees overhead has turned from yellow to dark gold, and she shakes her head in apology to Cassian. âAnother day,â she promises him. âItâs almost sunset.â
They walk back to the house, rounding it until they reach the front. At the bottom of the hill that the house is perched on stands a pier that leads all the way out to the lake. Green mountains frame the lake from both sides, creating the perfect cradle for the sun to sink into.
They go all the way out to the edge of the pier, as if theyâre trying to get as close to the sunset as physically possible. Dragonflies lazily swoop by as the lake is gradually painted in a hundred different colors.
Once thereâs more darkness than light in the sky, Cassian nudges Nesta with one of the arms he has around her. âLook.â He points.
Along the shoreline of the lake, little dots of light have lit up to welcome the evening, their blinking glow so small that Nesta almost doesnât catch it. Fireflies.
Nesta watches the insects flit in and out of the long grasses of the lake shore, getting tangled in the weeds and wildflowers. In that moment, she remembers something Cassian once confessed to her not long after his birthday.
I want to see more beautiful places with you.
Nesta ticks this beautiful place off the long list in her headâthe first place out of many that she plans to see with Cassian.
More beautiful than the scene before her is the man in her arms. The man who was kind enough to understand a woman who barely understood herself, and to be her friend when she had none. The man who is extending his kindness right now by not having made any breaking-and-entering jokes about Nesta so far, though sheâs sure heâll pull them out eventually.
Discovering that she once found Cassian, just to let him slip by running away from him, only to find him again over a decade laterâit comforts the tiny part of her thatâs loath to say goodbye to him in two weeks.
Like Cassian is thinking the same thing, he murmurs into the dark, âI canât wait to come back to you.â
Nesta huffs in amusement. âYou havenât even left yet.â
âI know.â After a moment, he adds in a low voice that not even the fireflies can hear, âThank you for convincing me to go.â
She reaches up to squeeze his bicep. âAlways.â And then she adds what she really wants him to hear: âDonât come back until you find what youâre looking for.â
âI better find it quick then,â he jokes. Still, he nods in promise against the side of her head.
The only sound after that is the chirp of cicadas and the occasional lap of water meeting the pier beams. Nesta and Cassian stay outside in the June heat long after the sky turns ink blue.

Idea for a prompt: Different first meeting: Geralt gets a contract for a missing kid, tracks it and finds creature! Jaskier (what kind is up to u) and wants to kill him at first but the child stops him and explains that her parents were abusive and that Jaskier saved her. Geralt helps them both get away and Jaskier is smitten with this kind hearted witcher đ thank youu
PHEW This took me a minute, sorry for the delay! I hope it turned out to your liking.
~
Jaskier doesnât normally get involved in human affairs. Sure he enjoys playing his lute in inns and taverns across the continent, and he takes human lovers more often than not. But he doesnât interfere, he doesnât step in to save the day, he doesnât start fights that he could easily win. That is, until he meets Ciri.Â
She is everything good and perfect in this mortal world, her smile is like sunshine on a warm summerâs day and her laughter is better music than the likes of which he could ever hope to produce. And so, the first time he sees her bruised and withdrawn, he sees red. Heâd been making conversation with her over her fatherâs vegetable stand at the market every day for weeks now. It had been the longest heâd settled in one area in years, but he found that he enjoyed the routine heâd adopted, and he enjoyed Ciri being a part of it. He found her to be much like the kid sister he never had growing up. As it so happened, fae tended to be only children.
So when Jaskier broke into Ciriâs house and froze her father mid-swing with a bit of fae magic (in the process, revealing his true form), heâd been relieved to find her hugging him instead of running from him in terror. On second thought he should have frozen the mother as well, but heâd been focused on the imminent threat at the time. They packed what scarce belongings she had, a few outfits and a small cloth doll sheâd had since she was little, and together they left, riding Pegasus off into the night and out of town.
It had been his mistake to linger outside of town for a few days instead of urging them to hit the road as soon as possible. Heâd wrongly assumed that the abusive man wouldnât care to come looking for his daughter, glad to be rid of her. While he didnât come looking for her himself, heâd sent the worst possible second option: a witcher.
They were camped out in a cave just outside of town, Pegasus tied up to graze just outside when Jaskier had heard the witcherâs approach. Jaskier drew himself up to his full height, allowing the more monstrous of his features to show through, his sharp pointed teeth, his usually gleaming blue eyes glowing red, and large butterflyâs wings sprouted from his back. The witcher appears at the mouth of the cave, sword drawn, and golden eyes gleaming.Â
âLet the child go, fae,â the witcher commanded, âsheâs of no use to you.â
âI canât let you take her back to her family, witcher,â Jaskier hissed back.
Ciri stood up from where sheâd been sitting against the cave wall and came to stand between the two of them, âStop, please donât fight each other.â
The witcher, who Jaskier had to admit was quite beautiful with his long white hair and high cheekbones, lowered his sword just slightly though he did not sheath it.
âSir witcher, please understand, Jaskier saved me, I do not want to go back to my family,â Ciri explained, âmy father is a terrible man and Iâm glad to be rid of him.â
âAnd what proof do you have that this fae hasnât ensorcelled you to believe such things?â The witcher asked.
âNone but my word, sir, and these bruises that my father gave me,â Ciri gestured to her eye and her wrists, the ones that were clearly visible.
Ciri went over to Jaskier then and hugged him, âPlease calm down, Jaskier, let him see you as I see you.â
Jaskier took a deep breath and focused on restoring his glamour. It took a few minutes but finally, his wings were gone, and his teeth and eyes were back to normal. He returned Ciriâs embrace and turned his attention back to the witcher.
âPlease leave us be, witcher, it is as Ciri says, her father is a cruel and violent man, and Iâd hate to see her returned to the life in which she was trapped,â Jaskier insisted, âif itâs my company you protest so much, I would ask you let me get her to at least the next town before we part ways.â
The witcher seemed to consider it for a long moment before nodding, âI will accompany you to the next town, but it is from there that you part ways, a fae is no good for a child.â
Ciri looked up at Jaskier, pleading, âNo, Jaskier, please let me stay with you-â
âThis is for the best, Ciri, the witcher is right, Iâm no good for you,â Jaskier told her.
âGeralt,â the witcher said, âif weâre going to be traveling together you should know my name.â
âWell, Geralt, thank you for not trying to kill me,â Jaskier said, now câmon Ciri, letâs get going, you slept in plenty late.â
Ciri grumbled at him but went and grabbed her pack and her doll while Jaskier packed up the bedroll heâd let her use. They only had the one and so he let her use it, seeing as he didnât really need sleep. He could have used his fae magic to enchant the cave into a small cottage with two beds but with them so close to town still heâd wanted to conserve his energy in case someone came after them.Â
They got themselves packed up and then Jaskier was helping Ciri up into the saddle on Pegasusâs back, climbing up behind her. They followed Geralt out onto the main road and soon they were trotting side by side in companionable silence. The next town was a good few days ride from where theyâd camped out, which would give Jaskier plenty of time to oggle Geralt before they inevitably parted ways. The witcher was beautiful, Jaskier couldnât help himself from staring. It didnât help that there werenât many witchers that would have believed Ciri either, most would have ignored her and cut Jaskier down right in front of her and dragged her back to a life of misery and torment with her father. So okay, yes, Jaskier was a bit smitten. Probably a good deal more than he should be.Â
The one thing that Jaskier wasnât looking forward to was leaving Ciri behind but Geralt was right, he was no good for her. He still stumbled across other fae in his travels, as like was drawn to like, and traveling with an innocent child wouldnât be a good idea. Not all fae were so kind to children as Jaskier was.
They decided to make camp not long before the sun set, and while Jaskier offered to build them a small cottage in the clearing they found, Geralt refused, insisting that he was perfectly happy sleeping on a bedroll under the stars. Just because he was fine that way didnât mean Jaskier couldnât still have conjured something for them that was more comfortable, but ultimately he gave in and simply conjured himself an extra bedroll so that he could sleep tonight. And again, when he offered to produce food for them, Geralt insisted on going out into the woods and hunting for them instead, and it was then that Jaskier realized that Geralt was probably functioning under the assumption that any and all fae magic was bad. While yes, fae magic could be used for many terrible things, creating delectable food and a roof over oneâs head was not some of them. That bit about eating fae food was exclusively about eating food from the fae realm itself, not food conjured through fae magic entirely. Still, Jaskier didnât put up a fuss, allowing the witcher to follow his own manly instincts to provide. It was kind of cute, besides.
It was after Ciri had fallen asleep, leaving Jaskier and Geralt alone that he attempted to explain the difference in fae magic to Geralt, but he had no luck in that department.
âItâs good to not become dependent on such things,â Geralt said in his defense.
âIs it really being dependent to have it for a few nights before we go our separate ways?â Jaskier asked, his voice slightly teasing.
âIâm still not letting you conjure us a cottage,â Geralt said in response, his voice somewhat teasing as well.
Jaskier pouted, âFine,â he sighed, âI see how it is, big tough witcher scared of a little fae magic.â
âThereâs good reason to be scared of fae magic,â Geralt pointed out, ânot that I am, of course.â
âIâm not like the other fae youâve encountered, I donât go around cursing people or otherwise hurting innocents just for the fun of it,â Jaskier said, âI enjoy being a part of human society.â
âWhy is that?â Geralt asked, âWith all the power you hold, you prefer to play the part of a lowly bard?â
âI guess thatâs part of the fun of it, is exactly that, I could do anything I wanted, but Iâd rather play music for people, and not those Iâve ensorcelled as you put it, but people that genuinely want to hear it,â Jaskier said.
âJust seems an odd thing to choose,â Geralt said.
âWell what about you then, what would you choose to do with your life if you werenât hunting monsters?â Jaskier asked.
âI donât know, never given it much thought,â Geralt said, âmaybe carpentry, I always enjoyed working on the keep when I go home for the winter.â
Jaskier smiled, âI can see it now, you building houses and furniture. Youâd probably be good at it.â
âHmm,â Geralt hummed, looking away from him briefly as if to hide his expression.
Jaskier reached out and gently turned Geraltâs face back towards him, as they were seated close enough for him to do so and heâd always been overly forward. Geralt startled at the touch but didnât push him away, if anything he leaned into the touch. Jaskier smiled at that, moving his hand to cup Geraltâs face, so he could rub his thumb over his jawline. It wasnât until Jaskier leaned in for a kiss that he realized, this was too easy. He pulled away, even as Geralt had leaned in to match him, and stood up, walking away and doing everything he could to cool off.Â
âIâm so sorry, I didnât mean toââ
âYou used your fae magic on me,â Geralt said dumbly, as if he were somewhere far away, and only distantly able to identify what was happening.
âIt just slips out sometimes, I didnât do it on purpose, I swear,â Jaskier assured him, ânot that I donât want to kiss you, I just would prefer you to want to of your own volition.â
Geralt shook his head as if to better clear it, before nodding, âAs would I.â
Geralt paused, before looking up at him, âYou really arenât like other fae, any other wouldnât have stopped.â
âI sort of have this thing about not raping people,â Jaskier said, trying to joke but failing miserably.
Geralt smirked at that, âA good thing to have.â
Jaskier hesitantly came back to sit down on the log next to Geralt and sighed, âIt can be challenging to know when people are really interested in me and when itâs my magic slipping out like that. With you it was easy, with others it can be more difficult.â
âThat must be hard, living like that,â Geralt agreed, âIâm sorry.â
âOh no itâs alright, Iâve learned to live with it, itâs just unfortunate when you really like the person, you know? You want them to like you back so much, but thereâs always this feeling I get in the back of my mind that letâs me know it isnât real,â Jaskier said.
âYou should stay with her,â Geralt said suddenly.
   âWhat?â
âThe girl, Ciri, you should stay with her, youâre better for her than I thought,â Geralt said honestly, âbetter for her to stick with you than end up in a brothel.â
Jaskier smiled at Geralt, âThank you, I wasnât looking forward to parting ways with her, you know.â
âI know,â Geralt said, âYou should get some sleep, we should get going not long after sunrise.â
âYou know that fae donât need sleep, right? This must just be your way of telling me to shut up,â Jaskier teased.
Geralt smirked, âYou wouldnât have conjured a bedroll if you werenât intending to sleep at some point tonight.â
âFair point,â Jaskier sighed, âand Iâm sorry, again, for using my magic on you like that.â
âYou said it yourself, it wasnât intentional,â Geralt shrugged.
Jaskier set out his bedroll and climbed in, snuggling down under the blankets, watching as Geralt did the same.Â
âGood night, Geralt,â he called, smiling to himself when all he got back was a âhmmâ so soft he wouldnât have heard it without his fae hearing.
#my fic#geraskier#prompt fill#this one fought me tooth and nail#but I like how it turned out#I like the idea of fae!jaskier having to actively control his magic when it comes to other people#and him struggling with knowing whether people are actually into him or if it's his magic coming out

All of the feelings that I've got for you Can't be explained, but I can try for you
You pressed your elbows onto the hard metal railing, a smile drifting onto your face. You watched the orange and pink hues transform the sky as a small fluffy cloud sat on the bank of the water. In the very far distance, you could see a small fishing boat trying to reach shore before darkness took the air.
Everything was so content and peaceful. Your muscles felt relaxed from the salty air and warm weather. You could vanish right here and now, feeling the most content and relaxed you have ever been.
âDid I ever tell you how sexy you look in that sundress?â
You grinned as you continued to stare at the water, knowing exactly who was behind you. She closed the balcony door behind her, and she walked over to you, rosĂŠ in hand.
âOnce or twice.â
You couldnât see but you knew she had that smirk on her face, she always wanted to see you flustered no matter the time. She took small sips of the alcohol as she watched you, watching the sunset.
She couldnât bore her eyes away from your content and happy figure, she felt that all too familiar fluttering in her chest. A few days ago, your wedding took place in New York. The whole team was there and your family also attended. Of course, Tony being Tony, he made sure that your wedding was the flashiest and most extravagant.
Natasha had never really told you, even during the wedding vows, that you were the best thing that could ever happen to her. Missions with The Avengers could get heavy, especially when the past of Hydra comes to haunt her. Many days she would come home, dark and menacing thoughts would take hold of her mind at the thought of the gruesome horrible things that she did in her past.
However, it was like the light had filled the air again when youâd walk over to her and cradle her in your arms. All those thoughts would cease when youâd whisper sweet thoughts in her ear. You saved her from many hopeless days.
She broke out of her thoughts and lifted her hand, wrapping it around your waist and pulling you closer towards her. You pressed a light kiss onto her nose, and she giggled, relishing in the feeling of being by your side.
Her lips are locked with yours now, fully forced and teeth clashing against each other. She tasted like rosĂŠ and mint, her tongue was sweet and dominant. Your heart fluttered at the fanning of her breath on your face, the radiating heat that left her body warmed your skin.
The kiss was bruising and passionate, your toes curling already at the thought of being on a honeymoon with her. You were in pure heaven, pure ecstasy to just be kissed by her red lips. She pulled back and chuckled at your whine and your lips turned into a pout.
She moved you so your back was pressed up against the railing. She smirked while lifting your dress, groaning at the absence of panties.
âBabygirl, is this all for me?â
You whimpered from the feeling of her thumb circling your clit, your hands holding onto the railing like your life depended on it. You sucked in a breath, you could hear your slick as she rubbed back and forth on the sensitive area.
âSo fucking wet and itâs all for me,â she hums.
Your eyes couldnât leave her blue ones as she slowly sunk to her knees, keeping your dress hiked up with her nimble fingers. All she wanted to hear for the rest of her life was your sweet, delicious moans and the screaming of her name.
A smile reached her face again at the thought of her proposal. You two were the happiest you had ever been but Natasha soon realized that it wouldnât be. Fully making you hers with that diamond around your ring finger was it for her.
Should know by the way I use my compression That you've got the answers to my confessions
âAre you sure about this?â
She rolled her sweet blue eyes at you. She was currently on her knees, proposing to you in front of the whole team. Little twinkling lights fluttered around the ground, roses rested upon the concrete near the tower.Â
Her plan was perfect. She had first taken you to where you metâin the tower when you spilled coffee all over her shirt. Next, she took you to the spot where you had your first date which was in a little Russian cafe. She then took you to a little pit stop where she kissed you underneath a tree in Central Park.
Throughout the whole adventure, Natasha told you something that she loved about you. Sometimes they made you groan as she stated how much she loved your stubbornness. Most of them, however, made your heart and stomach burst with happiness.
She then brought you back to the tower, talking about all the memories that you had made with the team and her. You saw the rest of them and waved, not even noticing Tony and Steve were crying.
You turn around back to Nat but you freeze, a gasp leaving your lips. There she sat on one knee with a box in her hand. She opened it up as tears ran down your face, and she asked the million-dollar question.
Although, your thoughts had gotten the best of you. You couldnât help but think she was doing this because it felt implied. You knew she wasnât the most affectionate person and you had never really talked about getting married. Well, you had always talked about it but Natasha never had uttered a word.
âWhat do you mean, baby?â
âWell, I just-â You sigh, watching as her hope started to falter. She closed the velvet box and stood up. Luckily though, she didnât run away. She stayed right in front of you, eyes flickering to try to gauge what thoughts were running through your head.
âEvery time we talked about it, it was only me. You never uttered a word and I just donât want to force you into this. I shouldnât have ever made you uncomfortable. If you want, we can take it all back, and act as if nothing happened.â
Her face contorted into an expression that you couldnât quite make out. Her eyes were soft and clear as she lifted her hand to rest it on your cheek, gently swiping her thumb back and forth.
âOh, babygirl, you didnât force me into anything. I was always just so scared. I never thought that anyone would want to grow old with me or love me for who I am. I was always so shocked when you talked about these fantasies with me in them. I love you like my life depends on it. So please, marry me?â
That's just the way you make me feel So real, so good, so fuckin' real
âNat, please-â
She decided to tease you, hear your whines, and press light kisses on your thighs. She giggled against the skin from your protests of her not delving right into your pussy.
âPatience, babygirl, or I wonât let you come.â
That shut you up real quick, and she couldnât help but smirk, knowing just how good you wanted to be for her. She pressed her tongue against your slit, watching as your face contorted with pleasure.
You moaned as she poked her tongue in, you could feel her moan at your slick wetness. Your body practically vibrated with anticipation as she continued to attack your aching pussy.
âFucking love this pussy,â her voice slightly muffled my being completely in your dripping cunt.
You could feel her tongue everywhere, she never stayed in one place long. Sheâd tease you with licking lightly around your slit and rubbing your cute little clit but then poke her tongue in ever so slightly.
She was playing her little game of teasing the shit out of you.
âNat, fuck, please-â
Her tongue rolled over your sensitive nub which made you flinch. She inserted her index finger making you moan so loud that it echoed across the Hotel balcony.
This was so riskyâyou were completely out in the open, your pussy practically on display. Natasha would usually play you like a fiddle underneath the table while a few of the other Avengers were around. But were never you so out in the open like this.
But fuck, youâd be lying if you said it didnât turn you on.
âOh, you want to get caught, you dirty girl. You want the world to know you belong to me?
She smirked up at you and you nodded quickly. You couldnât lift your gaze elsewhere so you watched her tongue circle your pretty bud. She started to pump her fingers slowly, staying with a rhythm, and then slowly inserting another finger. Your legs were fully shaking now, and your jaw was completely slack.
âBaby, I need you so bad. Please, Nat.â
You couldnât help but squirm and moan and plea. You were squirming in the fucking air, you knew you probably looked absolutely ridiculous. Your dress was hiked up, Nat was buried in your pussy, and you were pressed up against the railing on the 4th floor of a building. But, you didnât care. All you wanted was for Nat to fuck you like no tomorrow.
You needed her.
âIf you donât stop fucking moving, babygirl-â
You interrupted her with a whine and her face turned from a smirk into an irritated one. She growled towards you and with a yelp involuntarily leaving your lips, she forcefully grabbed your hips and pushed you harder onto the railing.
âYouâre being a brat, you know that?â
âWell, if you would just get on with it, then-â
You closed your mouth so fast, eyes wide with regret. Her face became dark and stoic, which made you gulp in fear. You were royally fucked, totally and utterly fucked. You just had to be a fucking brat and open your mouth. You were so desperate that you couldnât think about what words were rushing out of your mouth.
You held your breath as she stopped all movements and stood up, so she was towering over you. The sea breeze flowed past her hair and normally you would make a comment on how pretty she looked but now was definitely not the time. She grabbed your face, her fingers wrapped around your cheeks and squeezing slightly.
âBrats donât get what they want, you know that,â she sneered.
She pulled you forward, her lips were just inches away from yours. You could feel her breath fan up onto your pleading face. God, she looked so hot. Her eyebrows were furrowed in anger but her eyes spoke of yearning and lust.
âBrats get punished but you like getting punished, donât you babygirl? You like being fucked until youâre just a dumb baby, begging for me to get you off.â
Her eyes narrowed at the whimper that left your mouth. You rubbed your legs together trying to grab any friction that you could. She looked at you with raised eyebrows. You had never been so desperate as to disobey her again and rub your thick thighs together.
âYouâre that desperate, huh babygirl?â She softened her voice slightly but not enough to let you know she was still irritated with you.
She never broke eye contact as she lifted your dress again and wasted no time in filling you up with her fingers. She gave you no time to react as she pumped her fingers so fast and hard.
You wanted to say something, anything but all that could escape your mouth was pitiful whimpers as your jaw was slack open.
âYouâre doing so good, babygirl.â
You could hear the squelching sounds of your pussy around her fingers. You thanked whoever the fuck that none of your hotel neighbors had walked out onto the balcony.
âFuck, look at that pretty pussy and itâs all mine.â
You yelped as she curled her fingers hitting just the right spot. Her fingers were long and thick, always reaching the places you couldnât. With each fast thrust of her fingers, she could tell you were getting close.
âShould I let you come? Are you going to be a good girl? You were such a fucking brat.â
You begged so pathetically, yelling her name as loud as you could. You could hear it echo into the ocean and the vast void of the world. She watched as your eyes rolled in the back of your head, that coil built up in your stomach was on the brink of exploding.
You didnât dare let it break because you knew sheâd punish you if you came without her permission. You made eye contact as your pussy involuntarily squeezed around her fingers--making you cry out again.
âAlright, alright. Iâve played with you enough,â You could barely hear her over the pleasure that raked through your body. The wet, juicy sounds of your pussy around her fingers were getting too much to handle.
âLet it go, baby. Cum right on my fingers.â
With one loud, burning cry you came around her fingers. Your pussy gushed with wetness that covered her whole hand and splashed onto your thighs. Your body shook against hers as you could almost see stars around her face.
Her fingers never relented as they struck that spot over and over again. She rode your high like no tomorrow and the air had been filled with your screams.
You almost go limp, not being able to stand the pleasures that soared through your body to even stand up straight. Natasha caught you and chuckled, watching as your high slowly clashed back down.
Her eyes turned dark again, and she shoved her fingers in your mouth. You moaned at the taste of yourself around her fingers.
âSuck. Weâre not done, babygirl.â
You continued to swirl your tongue around her fingers as she picked you up and carried you back into the hotel room. She placed you onto the bed and quickly stripping her clothes. She pounced on the bed and smirked at the cry you gave when she forcefully spread open your thighs.
This was going to be a long, very pleasurable week.
Mess me up, yeah, but no one does it better There's nothin' better

The knight before you was the opposite of a man. She was so opposite in fact, that you had to actively make yourself not appear like you were shocked. You knew that the twins were having to try even harder to keep composure.
She was without a doubt, one of the prettiest people you had ever seen before. Being a lady, you had seen so many handsome young men and gorgeous young women, but there wasnât one whoâs fairness struck you like this womanâs. Her eyes were an unfamiliar shade of blue, and you knew that they were the kind of eyes that were made for surveillance and observation, and if you looked hard enough, maybe a window to her thoughts. She had pink lips that were set into a genuine yet thin smile, almost like she wasnât used to wordless pleasantries at all. Her hair was cropped just above her shoulders and it shined a brilliant red that you had rarely ever seen. Despite the powerful and extremely potent energy that she was giving off, she was short, shorter than you, but something told you that she was strong. Stronger than anyone knew quite yet, but you could feel it. But, you were still confused, regardless of how she had rendered you breathless for the quickest of seconds.
The problem wasnât that she was a woman. There wasnât even really a problem at all. It was just the fact that a woman was a knight. You had never seen anything like it in your entire life, and you had never even thought of the possibility of that happening. At all. You had to fight tooth and nail to keep property that you hardly even wanted, all because you were a woman. Because you werenât pregnant with a son who could carry his hypothetical fatherâs name. Because you were a woman without the heir to your late husbandâs fortunes, you were seen as nothing, for a long time. And now, there were women who were becoming knights?
You were more impressed than confused.
You felt another pinch from Pietro, this time a little harder. You breathed in through your nose, a welcoming smile on your face as you grappled for words.
âHello,â you said, public voice still working hard as you internally scrambled for words. You were looking the red headed woman right in her eyes, the eyes that were so intense that if you hadnât been in rooms where extreme business had gone down, you would have melted. You tried to remember the standard greeting. âWelcome to my keep. I hope that I can accommodate you during your stay, and that you are successful in your search for what it is that you are looking for.â You knew the words were off by a bit, but you saw the coachman nod in approval that you didnât really care to have.
The knight took a step forward, and the sound of a heavy footstep crashing against your well-kept grass made you shiver. The trampled grass had nothing on the way that you reacted to hearing her voice. âIt is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Mirellis. I sincerely thank you for allowing me into your home.â
It was hardly your home, and you could tell that the two of you had already gotten off on the wrong foot. You knew it was because of your shameless staring. âMay I be graced with knowing your name?â
If possible, she stood up a little straighter. âI am Natasha Romanoff, My Lady.â
If you were hearing correctly, you heard the slight awkwardness in her last two words. Only people with titles of their own called other lords and ladies âmy ladyâ, and lower born people were to call them âmiladyâ. She must have been lowborn, just like you. âIt is my deepest pleasure to meet you, Natasha. May I show you around my keep?â
âTypically,â the coachman cut in, and you furrowed your brows at the way he interrupted the stop-and-start flow of the conversation. âIt isnât the lordâsorryâlady of the houseâs job to do that.â
Wanda opened her mouth, highly defensive of you and ready to go because it was a fight she could afford to pick. A servant and a coachman were on the same level. She would face no punishment for talking back to the man. However, you reached to your right and squeezed her hand twice.
âWell, I am the lady of the house, and I would like to show my new guest her accommodations.â The man narrowed his eyes slightly at you, and it became obvious to everyone that he clearly wasnât expecting back talk from you.
You knew that everyone thought widows were these gentle, sad women. The type that cried themselves to sleep and wished to meet their husbands again in the afterlife. The type that listened at anything that a man uttered simply because he was a man, or because they didnât have the energy to entertain an arguement or to correct them. Especially ladies. But you were not supposed to be a lady. You wore fancy dresses and had gold and had a small castle to yourself, but part of you would always be that girl who beat up the boys who lived a few acres away for talking about your hair and then rolled in mud with them, laughing about it the very next day.
Even through the glances that were thrown between the five of you standing there, you continued. âMy staff has worked so hard on making sure it was nice for her. Iâd like to show off their diligence now.â It wasnât a question.
âDo as you please, milady.â
You resisted the urge to nod smugly. âThank you.â You watched him climb back onto his chair and quirked a brow. The coachman always stayed for dinner. It was considered offensive if they did not, both to the knight and to the lord or lady. âDid you not want to stay for the meal, good sir?â
âI must get back, milady. If that is alright with you.â
You knew you should utter something lengthy that you didnât mean at all, but the most you could get out after his blatant rudeness was a quick âsafe travels.â There was a long stretch of awkward silence as you watched him leave, arms hanging at your sides as the trotting sound of horses carried him away.
âGoodness, was he rude.â
âPietro.â Wanda hissed, and you bit the inside of your cheek to keep from laughing. You whirled around to look at the knightâ Natashaâ and saw that she was already looking at you with blatant curiosity.
âWould it be alright with you if I took you around myself?â You asked, and she nodded her head. âWell, Iâm sure youâre hungry. Would you like to eat first?â
You were beginning to realize very quickly that the woman was the staring type. Her eyes, no, her entire face and persona was so demanding and intense. It was hard to even be provoked by her shameless staring and possible judgement, because at least she was open with it. The more you looked at her, though, the more you knew that you would never understand what was happening behind her eyes. âI would like to see.â
âThen you will see,â you stated, and gave Wanda a look. She knew immediately what it meant, and she walked off to tell the chefs to expect you in an hour or so. âWe can start with the outside area and make our way in.â
She was very much the staring type. Not even just at faces or people in general, but with everything. You noticed that when anything caught her eye, she looked at it for a few seconds in silence and then moved on, like she heard them speak something unknown to everyone else and took the time to listen.
âThese are the training grounds,â you said after walking to the back half of the castle, where the grass was still trained to grow with strength and hardly a thing was out of place. The training grounds were for young squires in the area or kids that just wanted to play fight. You had made the area yourself, and it was one of your favorite parts of your home. You liked being able to look outside and see children playing freely, and the sound of laughter was something that everyone needed in life. âYouâre free to use them in any way you see fit, of course.â
âThatâs very kind of you.â
âYouâll run into aspiring knights here and there, but they are good children.â Your voice was fond as you spoke of them, and then took a right. âAnd just down here, we have the gardens.â
And gardens, they were. They were the only thing in the castle that was actually yours while your husband was alive. When you had arrived, the patch of land was so disgraced that it would have been insulting to call it a garden. The flowers were droopy, the soil was dry, and the vibrant colors that were once there had been sucked away. Your husband didnât care about the area, and neither did anyone else, so you adopted it. You had built it from the ground up and made it into what it was; a huge and gorgeous garden full of colors, with ivy hanging from rails in what looked like an unruly manner and bushes full of roses and begonias and everything in between. It was caged off by golden rails, but the rails were hardly binding. They were so wrapped with leaves that it looked like they grew with the garden.
âThis is my favorite part of the keep,â you stated softly, walking down it. You had expanded it so that it went down and into the forest, the rails forming a path. You walked down it every so often yourself, deep into the woods where no one would bother you, where you could look at the stars above in peace.
âIs it yours?â
âWhat?â You asked, tearing your eyes from a particular bush to see her looking up at the ivy.
âThis garden,â she said, and you realized that you were strolling closer and closer to the woods. You stopped walking, but didnât make any move to go and meet her. âDo you tend to it?â
âItâs mine,â you answered, not even bothering to take the subtle pride out of your voice. âItâs my project. I started it when I got here, and now itâs flourishing.â
âWhere did you learn how to garden?â
It was no secret that typically, ladies did not get their hands dirty, even if the activity was simple planting. They were supposed to stay inside and knit or something like that. Ladies could go outside to look at gardens, but they had staff to plant for them. So, did Natasha not know that you werenât born with a title? âWhen I was a girl,â you answered vaguely.
âYour Lord Father allowed you?â
My father was no lord. âYours allowed you to wield a sword?â The sound of armor clanking brought you out of your slight hostility, and you sighed. âI apologize.â
âItâs quite alright.â The harshness in her voice told you that she was offended by what you said, and she turned around once she realized that the two of you were nearing the tree line.
You walked around with Natasha, giving her the rest of the tour halfheartedly and only speaking when absolutely necessary. It was clear that the two of you clearly werenât clicking as well as you hoped to, and while that was tragic, you werenât going to kiss anyoneâs feet to get in their good graces.
âIâm sure youâre hungry by now.â The second you stepped on the wood floors of the inside of your keep, the warmth hit you. Your shoes clicked on the material as you walked ahead of her, not looking back or waiting for an answer. âIâll show you the kitchens, and then the dining hall.â
The dining hall was known for its size. It was huge, and the ceiling was high. Everything that was said echoed, and the lighting provided by strategically placed candles made the hall have an elegant, almost eerie feeling to it. The staff was already bustling around, plating food and pouring wine. Wanda and Pietro were already there, their harsh and bickering whispers hitting your ears until they heard you approaching.
âOh, please, sit.â Wanda did so immediately, and Pietro walked around the table to pull out your chair, which sat at the head of it.
You cringed when Pietro sat down. He had been dethroned from his seat at your left hand, because it was courteous of you to give up that seat for your new night. That was one tradition that you wouldnât break, simply because it would be seen as disrespectful. âYou can sit right there, Lady Natasha.â You saw her lip twitch.
In all honesty, you had no idea what to call her formally. You two certainly werenât close enough to address each other by first name, and you doubted she even knew it. But she wasnât a man, and male knights were called âSirâ. She wasnât a âSirâ. You didnât want to offend her further by calling her it.
The first half of the dinner was in awkward silence. Wanda kept giving you glances, and you frowned at the way she was looking at you- like you had clearly messed something up. You sighed through your nose when you heard Pietro clear his throat, a sound that meant that he was about to run his mouth.
âSo, my lady knight, what do you think of the castle?â
The red head didn't even realize she was being addressed until she looked up and saw you and everyone else looking at her expectantly. âItâs very nice.â You waited a bit, listening to hear whatever empty compliments that she would give for the sake of being polite. Ten seconds passed, and there was nothing.
You chuckled. âThank you,â you answered just as shortly, holding back the urge to laugh much louder than was appropriate.
âSo, where are you from?â
âThe slums.â You nod in acknowledgment, and guilt. Sometimes you repressed the images of people living from coin to coin. But silly you, silly everyone. For there to have been people on the top, there had to be people at the bottom. And those who lived at the bottom lived in what were called âthe slumsâ. âI donât know if you would know anything about that, My Lady.â
Wanda made a noise that told you that the bold knightâs words were clearly meant to wound you, and Pietroâs brows shot upwards so quickly that you barely saw the movement happen. You stared at your plate, jaw dropped open in surprise and mortification.
You were fuming on the inside. How the hell would she know who you were? What you dealt with? How your husband was as cruel as he was disgusting? How you grew up a poor farmerâs daughter? She didnât know, and that was what kept you grounded. How could she have known?
Before you could get in your right mind to utter a threat that you were sure that your late husband had said in your presence at least once, you nodded your head and took it in stride. You stood up from the table and didnât look at her or the confused look she shot you after looking at your painfully unfinished plate.
âWanda will show you to your chambers, Lady Natasha. I hope you enjoy your first dinner of many here at my castle, and I hope that tonight begins your yearlong journey to wisdom.â And with that, you turned on your heels after taking your plate shamelessly, heels clacking against the polished floor once again, silence filling the hall until long after you left.
§§
By the third day Natasha was there and the second that you had been blatantly avoiding her, you were starting to feel bad for fueling the fire between you two. She was to stay under your roof and do what she had to for a full year, and you antagonized her. You gave the sacred act of showing a knight to their room to someone else, and you understood Natashaâs lack of speech towards you to be a consequence of that.
But that was fine. You certainly didnât need for the girl to like you. It would have made things much easier and smoother, but it wasnât a necessity. Your job was to give her food, water, shelter, and time to find herself and her purpose as a knight. Nothing said that the two of you had to be as thick as thieves.
But that also didnât mean that you would actively pass on befriending her. You decided after a long time of sitting at the polished wooden desk that had become yours that you would be her friend should fate allow it, and if not, there was no harm to it. But you werenât going to chase her, no matter how wonderfully her bright hair would work as an object to follow.
A soft calling of your name happened seconds before Wanda opened the door. You greeted her informally and grinned at her, until you saw the look on her face and the sealed paper in her hand. Immediately, your joyful expression left and you sighed.
âWho is it this time?â Wanda shut the door behind her after your question, and you gave her a look. âIt canât be Lord Rumlow again.â
Brock Rumlow was not a good man. No man who had power was a good man, but he was one of the worst. He had gone through two wives in the past three years, and the second one was found with stab wounds in the forest. How he had gotten out of being tried for her murder was beyond you, and it made you sick to your stomach every time you thought about it. Now, he set his sights on you, a widow sitting on plenty of money and land. He had been sending you letters, flowers, gold, dresses, anything that a narcissistic man would think that another human being would like simply because the things were tangible. And the letters always said the same old thing; to marry him. And he wasnât ever really asking.
âItâs him,â Wanda confirmed, her tone telling you that she felt the same way you did towards the vile man.
âI want to burn it,â you said, and immediately, Wanda crossed the room to put the note in the fire, waiting for your final say. âLet me read what this imbecile has asked for now. I wonder what beautiful horse or jewel heâll offer for my hand, this time.â
You took the letter from Wanda gently and gave her a small smile, and she urged you to open it, just as nervous to see what was inside as you were. You stared at his seal for a few seconds, eyeing the red wax with a three headed serpent engraved with disdain before tearing it right open. You did the rest without ceremony, your eyes narrowed as you found the messy and unbothered handwriting that you would recognize from anywhere.
Lady of Riverstone,
I take it that my other letters may have been lost to the wind. I apologize for not reaching you earlier. But, if you have been getting my letters, then my main offer stands the same. I would be honored for you to take my name and stand under my veil, and for you to become my wife. Marriage to me would give you a great deal of benefits, and I have listed them down below. I would like an answer within two fortnights, and if I donât get one, Iâll send another letter.
It was all more of the same, more of the same offers and then a little more, vague threats, and monotonous language that he hardly knew how to use correctly. You read with a neutral expression, even though Wanda was shocked reading all of the things he was offering. He signed it off like he did every other letter.
Lord Rumlow, of Serpentâs Keep.
âHe offered you two tons of gold to send your father?â
âDo you notice how heâs never called me Lady Mirellis?â You asked, sipping the chalice of water that constantly sat at your desk, and got refilled whenever someone walked by and saw it nearing empty. âOr by my name?â
âI have.â
âItâs always âLady of Riverstoneâ,â you sighed, shaking your head. âIf he wants the land, he should just go on and say that. Itâs much more respectable for him to be honest with me. Maybe I would have said yes already.â
Wanda made a face. âYouâre lying, now.â
âWell, of course I am. I've never seen him, and all he wants is a woman to beat around. Iâm not that woman, no woman is. Do you think I want to find myself dead within a half year of being wed?â There was a sharp knock on your door.
âHe wouldnât kill you. He wouldnât gain these assets after your death,â Wanda said softly, understanding that you were about to finish the conversation. âHe must be truly desperate to pay ou two tons of gold. That could help nearly anyone out of a pickle, and it would certainly pay off some things back at the farm.â
You knew that. But the truth was⌠you held a certain amount of irrational and rational disdain for your family. You knew that some of it was warranted just off of the way humans worked in general, but others werenât. You knew for a fact that a part of you would always be bitter about the way that no one fought hard enough for you not to be taken from your home. You knew that a part of you would be bitter because they took the money that your late husband had offered them, like you were the fattest, most desirable pig in the pen. And there would forever, and ever, be a part of youâif not all of youâ that would be angry about your wedding night.
Half of your family showed. The other half came, took you to a back room, and cried. They cried on your night of terror, and you comforted them. It was the one time where you truly needed your mother and her maternal instincts, the one time you needed your brother to teach you some moves that could hurt a man if you needed them. And they either werenât where you needed them, or werenât what you needed them. Both truths hurt the same.
âMy family doesnât need money,â you settled on saying, swallowing the burning that came with thinking about the people you shared blood with. âIf they needed it, they would ask.â
âYour father is a proud man, he wouldnât set that pride aside. Especially not to ask one of his own daughters for money.â
âWell, let that be their problem,â you said, although your harsh words werenât as impactful because of the tremor in them. âI wonât marry Lord Rumlow.â
Wanda leaned forward a bit, and she took both of your hands in hers as the knocking grew louder. She looked you in the eyes, just the way one true friend looked at another. With the same ferocity in her voice as the time when she assured you that no one was going to force you to give up your rights to ladyship, her next words were no louder than a whisper. âAnd no one will make you.â
Your eyes almost grew watery as you held her hands, feeling the purity of the bond you shared with her surging. âThank you.â You looked towards the door and let her hands go, uttering a soft command.
Pietro stood there with his arms crossed and a flushed look on his face. He cocked his head to the side at the sight of you and Wanda hovering over a broken open letter, and took a few steps forward. It was upside down, so you turned it his way so that he could read it easier, and the second he recognized the handwriting, he groaned.
âI think I can assume what this is,â he rolled his eyes, and he picked it up and walked over to the fire. When youâd said nothing, he tossed it in and the three of you watched it burn. âI came to tell you that our little knight is strange.â
âHow so?â
âWell, she's writing.â
You furrowed your brows. âWriting?â You repeated, remembering her saying that she grew up poor. Most commoners had no idea how to read or write. You only learned because you had to learn when you married a lord. And even if knights had the ability to read and write, they hardly did. Words had very little value to a man who could wield a sword.
But Natasha Romanoff was no man.
âWhat on earth would she be writing about?â Wanda asked, leaning against the desk. âI wonder if sheâs required to write a review on her treatment.â
Pietro gave a short but genuine laugh. âSheâs probably writing down terrible things about you to give to the king after she returns home,â he joked, and Wanda cracked a smile, but you couldnât find it in you to laugh.
âI couldnât care less about a review of my hospitality or lack therefore of,â you drawled.
Wanda rolled her eyes. âYes, you do, because youâre a kind person.â
âBut she is not.â You felt bad for saying the words that you said not even seconds after.
âWe donât know that,â Wanda reasoned softly. âActually, I happen to know that sheâs quite nice. And sheâs level headed and very smart, from what I can see. Sheâs no man with a little praise under his belt, thatâs for sure.â
âSo, sheâs not boastful.â You said. âThatâs good. But I donât see her and I sharing more interactions than what we need to.â
âWith all due respect, Lady Y/N,â Pietro said, leaning forward with that characteristic smirk of his plastered over his face. âYou are very dramatic. You always have been.â
You could hardly even pretend to be offended. âThatâs not true.â
âIt is,â Wanda said quietly, though not fearfully at all. âYou are always dramatic, and then things work out.â
Wanda was right. She very much was, actually. Things like the river nearly drying up and crops rotting too quickly and other things that were completely out of your hands terrified you. The things that you couldnât control made you irrational and erratic, and that was probably your worst fault. You did the same with things you could change, only with worrying. Something as simple as an apology could fix something, but you would sit on giving the apology for hours, sometimes even days.
That night, when it seemed like everyone else was fast asleep and dreaming sweet little images, you put on slippers and walked right outsides, your guards not even asking you where you were going. You walked right out of the side doors and into the garden, humming quietly to yourself as you walked through the entrance of it with your pails of water.
It was quiet besides the noise of bugs chirping, and the occasional flap of wings from birds above. Even your humming had tapered off, and it felt like you could have been able to hear things from miles away. You smiled in the crisp air as you bent over to water a rose bush, a soft affirmation towards the red flowers when you saw how pretty they looked in the moonlight. When you stood back up and turned your head around, you gasped in fright and tumbled towards the ground.
âShit,â a hand caught your arm and the other was on your shoulder as your chest heaved, adrenaline rushing from being so frightened. âIâm sorry, I didnât mean to scare you. I thought you saw me.â It took you a second to see the face of the woman speaking in the moonlight, but when you saw it was the knight, you sighed.
You were set back on two feet, and then Natasha took a step backwards. âWhy are you out here?â
She shrugged. âItâs pretty.â There was a stretch of silence as you waited for her to say something, anything else. âItâs safe.â
A part of you was angered by that statement. Yes, the gardens were safe. Of course they were, they were your safety! They were your place that you went to when you felt like nothing was in your control, like your own decisions werenât yours. Nothing could hurt you in the gardens, and plants couldnât talk. They held every secret that you could ever tell, they held every tear that you never shed in front of another, and they saw every emotion that you were too stoic to show in front of others. They were the one place that you could get peace. And now the knight has ruined it.
But on the other hand, you were proud of yourself for creating something that someone else can admire. You created something that someone else could be free in, and in a way, that was amazing. And that hand was outweighing the other.
So, you said, âIâm glad it feels that way.â You cleared your throat softly when you realized that you were speaking to her the way you spoke to the twins. âI created it as my own safe space, so Iâm glad someone else thinks of it that way, too.â
There was a short yet heavy silence between you and Natasha, and then you saw her turn to face you, her eyes burning a hole into the side of your face. âI know youâre not very excited to have me here, but Iâm here. So we can at least try to be cordial.â
âIs that not what weâre being?â You asked, not even taking your eyes off of the moon. âI thought we were even being a little friendly.â
âIt would be nice if it lasted.â Natasha muttered, and you nodded your head.
âI donât know if I offended you with the question about whether or not your father approved your knighthood,â you said, sighing. âI assume that I did. And if you carry around that offense, then I apologize. I donât like talking about my own father, but you couldnât have known that.â
âYou do not need to be forgiven,â she states. âI apologize, as well.â
âAnd itâs not that I donât want you here,â you started, already cursing yourself for going into what she had said not even a full minute earlier. You were tense as she waited for you to continue, but you just shrugged and sighed. âJust know that thatâs not it.â Something reached toward you out of the corner of your eye, and you finally turned your head to look at her.
She was⌠she was nothing short of gorgeous. You were taller than her, so you looked down at her just a little bit. Her red hair looked more brown than anything, and her blue eyes were pale and still as beautiful as they were during the day. There was the smallest hint of a smile on her face, nervous almost, as you looked down at the arm that was reached out your way. The moon was shedding you both its white light, and it primarily rested right where her arm was extended, her palm lord and turned to the side.
She wanted to shake hands with you. Shaking hands was seen as archaic, and knights certainly didnât touch ladies unless they were assisting them. But, you knew by now that Natasha was not the typical knight. One of her fingers twitched, and you realized that she was just waiting there, her hand hanging in the air, like a gavel ready to drop at any moment. And quickly, almost enough to make the other woman startle, you took her right hand in your own and shook it twice, keeping your eyes right on hers.
âItâs a pleasure to meet you.â

âFirst time.â
Requested: Nope
Prompt: Alpha! Sana and Omega! Jihyo have their first time (G!P Sana). [High School AU]
a/u: So this is a bit of self-indulgent story so I hope you all enjoy! I love you all!
Category: NSFW and Fluff
Word Count: 4k
Jihyo breathed out a relieved sigh as she spotted her girlfriend at the end of the hall, skipping over to the older girl as she wrapped her in a back hug, âHi, baby.â A smile grew in Sanaâs face as she turned in the shorter Koreanâs arms. Placing a kiss on her head.
âHey, Hyo. I didnât see you there.â Jihyo huffed out a laugh as she pulled away from the hug.
âClearly.â They shared a smile as one of Sanaâs hands subconsciously reached out to hold Jihyoâs as they stood facing each other, âI have something to tell you.â
The younger girl smiled brightly as Sana responded, âIs it that you love me?â There was a playful smile on her lips as Jihyo rolled her eyes.
âI do love you, but no.â The Omega quieted down a little as she whispered into the Japanese girlâs ear, âMy parents will be out of town this weekend. Maybe we couldâŚâ Her voice trailed off at the end, too shy to finish. But Sana seemed to read her loud and clear.
âOh,â A small gasp left the Alphaâs lips as her cheeks reddened slightly, âOh!â A shy chuckle sounded as she took in her girlfriendâs even brighter face. âJi, Iâd love to! Friday night sound good for you?â
Her girlfriend nodded in agreement as the sound of a bell sounded again. âOh, shit. Iâm gonna be late,â Jihyo placed a quick peck to Sanaâs lips as she began running off, âI love you!â
A small smile graced the Japanese girlâs lips as well. Watching her girlfriendâs retreating figure as she muttered to herself, âI love you too.âÂ
-Friday Night-
Sana waited anxiously outside the Park residence as she built up the courage to knock on her girlfriendâs front door. She held her duffle closer to her, trying to forget the box of condoms she had bought earlier this week in preparation for this night. Finally building up the courage to knock, it didnât take more than a minute for the door to open and Jihyo to greet her Alpha.
A bright smile adorning the Omegaâs face as she grabbed the Japanese girlâs hand and began leading her up the stairs and into her bedroom. A quiet calm surrounding the couple as the door closed behind them. A nervous breath falling from Sanaâs lips as she eyes her girlfriend.
âC-can I kiss you? Now. This minute.â Sana suddenly said, sounding more like a command than a question. She didnât mean to sound like she was ordering Jihyo but it came out that way. A faint blush covered Jihyoâs cheek, making Sana feel even more nervous than before. God, Sana. Calm down. Jihyoâs your girlfriend so stop sounding like a general or something. âI mean...please? Is that okay? To...kiss you?â
I sound like an idiot, Sana thought, biting her lower lips. Jihyo just made her head grow fuzzy and unclear. She never really had this much of a problem speaking. Yet the soft chuckle from Jihyo only lightened her mood. Looking up, Jihyo had such a soft smile on her full lips. The dark red color was alluring for Sanaâs eyes. She loved how it fitted Jihyoâs style and Sana imagined kissing those lips already. Brown eyes seemed to glow a bit brighter as Jihyo stepped up to Sana, whispering, âOf course you can, Sana. I am your girlfriend, right?â
âY-yeah.â Sana nodded, stepping up to Jihyo. Looking up into brown eyes, Sana felt an overwhelming need to protect Jihyo. In response, she wraps her arms around Jihyoâs waist, letting Jihyo rest her forehead against her. Bringing their bodies close, Sana slowly rocked their bodies in a slow and swaying dance. She didnât even realize what she was doing. The Japanese girl was letting her body make the decisions and Jihyo didnât mind the contact.
âSana?â Jihyo says, sighing as her hands felt up Sanaâs shoulders. Her inner omega was saying, Yes. Thatâs a real Alpha youâre holding. Sanaâs a strong and worthy Alpha for you. âDo you love me?â
âOf course I love you, Jihyo.â Sana replies. Her hands linger around the small area of Jihyoâs back, her finger itching to massage Jihyoâs skin, yet she holds back. Jihyo was too overwhelming for her. Her nose smelled Jihyoâs scent, her touch felt like it was on fire every time she made contact with Jihyo, and her eyes could only soak up the vision of Jihyo. âIâm so happy to be able to have this time alone with you.â
âMe too, Sana.â Jihyo hummed, reaching up to cup Sanaâs face. Their breaths mingled together, their faces growing closer. Their lips hover a bit. Lost in this silent word, the couple rocked against each other to silent music, content in their private world. The mess happening outside their world was nothing but a blur to their minds.
Sana stopped to whisper, âI wish I can show you off to the world.â
âI know you do.â Jihyo whispered back, her lips gently kissing on the outer corners of Sanaâs lips, sighing into the heated contact.
Sana tightened her grip around Jihyoâs waist. âI just want to scream that youâre mine.â
âDonât.â Jihyo whimpered, kissing Sanaâs cheek as she pushed her body closer to the Alpha. âNot yet, Sana. Please? I just want to enjoy our little world with just us, for a little longer. No one knows except us, our little secret.â
âI know.â Sana groaned, hitching her breath as Jihyoâs hands roamed across her upper back. She lets out a soft, low growl. âI just need someone to know you belong to me. I want someone to know they canât look at you the way I do.â
âI want no one but you.â Jihyo sighs, kissing along Sanaâs jawline. As she kissed, she continued to mumble her words. âI only want you.â
Sana lets out a ragged whine, pushing her head to the side so she can kiss Jihyoâs exposed neck. When she does, Jihyo tilts her head so Sana can have more access to her neck. The Japanese girl moans, âItâs so hard. With everything that is going on, I can barely contain myself. Youâre always on my mind. I just want everything to stop so we can be alone.â
âWe are alone.â Jihyo reminded her. âRight now. Itâs just you and me right now.â Jihyo leaned back to look into soulful brown eyes. âMe.â A small peck on Sanaâs lips. âYou.â Another peck on the lips. âNo one else but us.â
Jihyo crashed her lips against Sana, moaning into the taste of her Alpha. Sana happily purred, feeling Jihyoâs passion through the kiss. Their lips rocked against each other, creating a symphony of music with their voices as they held themselves to each other. Jihyo palmed Sanaâs blue top, ruffling it as it rose up the Japanese girlâs body. Sana found herself rocking into Jihyo, wanting more of the Omegaâs touch and body heat. It was addicting. They were like a drug for each other and they ravished it with their lips.
Deciding to be more bold, Sana slipped her tongue out into Jihyoâs mouth, earning a whimper. It sent a spark of pleasure to shoot down Jihyoâs core as she welcomed Sanaâs tongue. The invading tongue explored Jihyoâs cavern, dancing with her tongue as well. All that came out of Jihyoâs mouth was gasps and groans, followed by a string of needy whimpers.
They didnât realize that their bodies stumbled near the bed. Jihyo fell back, followed by Sana landing on top of her. The impact broke the kiss. When Sana realized the position she was in, the reality of the situation started to hit her. She panicked, Oh my God, are we going to do it? Oh God, it looks like it. Jihyo is under me. Oh God, can I touch her? Should we keep going? Can I keep going? Should I ask? Is Jihyo even ready? Should I let Jihyo lead? Am I ready? Of course, I am. I wanted this for so long. Oh God, I should ask if we can keep going.
âJihyo?â Sana began, looking into heavily aroused brown eyes. Meanwhile, Jihyo was thinking, Oh God, I should've showered before we did this. Should I ask her if I can shower before we start? Or will that ruin the moment? I mean we have been stuck in the desert for days so surely sheâll let me? Wait. Are we going to do it? Or are we going to stop? I donât even know if Sana is ready. I should ask.
âSana.â Jihyo says, looking up to big brown eyes. They stared at each other, lost in their own minds. Jihyo forgot what she was going to ask, as well as Sana. The idea of being in this position was mind-blanking to them. It was overwhelming. They were just stuck, unsure of who should start first.
Finally, after what seem to be a few minutes, Jihyo shyly looks away. She mumbles, âYou can touch me, Sana.â
brown eyes linger at the loose jacket that Jihyo wore. Sanaâs mind was already undressing her but her hands hover over it like she was scared she was going to hurt the jacket. Sana stutters, âA-A-Are you su-sure?â
âOnly if you want to.â Jihyo answered, her eyes glancing at the nightstand besides the bed, a pack of condoms she had shyly bought at the conscience store.
âI mean...Iâm not complaining.â Jihyo purred, feeling slightly shy as she pats Sanaâs cheek so she would look at her.
âMe too.â Sana softly replied. Her hands still hovered over Jihyo, a bit nervous to begin any form of touching. The Japanese girl even started to shake a bit and Sana had to get off of Jihyo to calm her nerves.
This alerted Jihyo, who got up to wrap her arms around Sanaâs shoulders. With a gentle voice, she says,âHey, itâs okay to stop. We donât have to do anything. I know you have a lot on your plate so donât force yourself for me.â
âNo, itâs not that I donât want to do it. Itâs just that Iâm really nervous.â Sana admitted, pouting her lips. Jihyo resisted the urge to capture those lips again, feeling her heart melt at her adorable Alpha. âI never really had done anything like this. So...I guess Iâm just nervous.â
Jihyo leans in to kiss Sana on the cheek, smiling into it. âWell, if it makes you feel better, Iâve never really done too much so itâs a first for me as well. Iâm nervous too. I want our first time to be special and it already is.â
âReally?â Sana asked, looking a bit more hopeful.
âReally.â Jihyo confirmed, kissing Sanaâs forehead.
âThen...can I touch you?â
The Omega lets out a small chuckle at the obvious, but considerate, questions Sana has been asking. Taking the Japanese girlâs hand and placing it on her chest, Jihyo purred, âYou already are.â
Sana felt her mind go blank. Her hand palmed Jihyoâs chest through the jacket. Even though the fabric acted like a barrier, Sana could already feel how plump and perky Jihyoâs chest was. It was warm. It felt so real in Sanaâs hand that she wondered if she was dreaming. Her hand wrapped perfectly around a breast and Sana wondered if it was bigger than what she thought, since she felt a bit of the fleshy mound spill out of her hand. It was hard to tell through the jacket but Sana was, nevertheless, more than excited.
Meanwhile, Jihyo started to unbutton her jacket, letting it fall off her slender shoulders where she wore a simple red tank under it. Sanaâs eyes widen as the layers of clothing slowly fall off, like letting the petals fall off of a withering flower. Soon, Jihyo had her tank off, leaving her in her black bra. Before Sana knew it, in a flash that was off as well. Now Sana was staring at her half naked girlfriend. Her eyes linger on Jihyoâs chest where her predictions about how perky they must be came true, dotted with pink hardened nubs on the tips. Sana felt an ache in her core and something starting to strain against her pants.
Jihyo gently pulled Sana back on top of her, sighing as she felt the weight of the Alpha. She lets out a small whimper when she felt a harder pressure near her groin, smiling at the fact that Sana was having a reaction to seeing her bare. Shyly, she asked, âDo you like what you see?â
Sana swallowed a dry gasp, shaking her head, a bit eagerly. Her hands were squeezing and pinching the soft mounds, relishing how soft Jihyoâs skin was. Careful thumbs quickly flick the hardened nubs, earning a slight whimper from Jihyo. Her eyes watched Jihyo become undone under her, her brown eyes grew blank with arousal and her mouth parted a bit. Her lips looked more swollen from the kissing, pouting as Jihyo flinched with each twist of her nipples that Sana performed. Sana thought, If this is how she reacts to her breast being touched, I wonder how she reacts when IâmâŚ
There was a sharp twitch of her now hardening cock. It roared, trying to alert the Japanese girl of its presence. Sana hissed at it, finding her hips already rocking forward. The bulge thumped against Jihyoâs groin, earning a slight whimper from red lips. Jihyo purred, biting her lower lips as she smiled. Sana felt her heart pumped out more blood to darken the blush on her cheeks. Seeing Jihyo like this was truly too much for Sana. Jihyo was like a goddess and Sana found it hard to believe that she was able to pleasure this goddess.
Feeling a bit bolder, Sana unbuttoned Jihyoâs pants and started to tug them down her legs. Jihyo lifted her hips to let Sana take them off. The entire time, Sanaâs heart was drumming like crazy. She ate up every single detail of Jihyoâs skin and the curves of her waist, all the way to the dark curls that hid pink, succulent lips under it. Jihyoâs scent was overpowering her nose and Sana felt like she couldnât get enough. Her hands slowly trailed down, rubbing against Jihyoâs toned stomach and along her thighs.
Jihyo began to tug Sanaâs top off, in which the Japanese girl got up to help. She practically rip the top off, revealing her bare upper half. Jihyoâs eyes widened as she finally got to see her girlfriend fully bare for the first time. Sana was packing in muscle but she still had such a beautiful dip in her hips, smooth skin that highlighted against the somewhat dim lighting of the room, and a nice curve on the outline of her breast. Jihyo smiled to help make Sana feel more comfortable, knowing the Japanese girl must be feeling nervous for being bare for the first time. Jihyoâs hand began to undo the bindings of Sanaâs pants, with some help. Sana, feeling more confident and comfortable, swiftly tugged her pants down, letting her cock spring forward. She heard a gasp from Jihyo, making the Japanese girl smile in triumph.
Crawling on top of Jihyo like a panther, Sana nestled herself in between Jihyoâs legs, sighing at the heat that emanated from her sex. Her hips gently rocked against Jihyo, the full length of her shaft rubbed against her inner thigh.
Shit, Iâm so comfortable here but I forgot to grab a condom. Sana whipped her head to the night stand. She wondered if she would look stupid going back up and down on Jihyo. Perhaps she was overthinking it. Jihyo sensed the sudden tenseness of Sanaâs body. She rested herself on her elbows, kissing along Sanaâs jawline. She whispered, âYouâre doing fine, Sana. Just relax.â
The soft kisses and the gentles touches helped ease Sana down as she quickly reached over to grab a condom. Tearing the package and pulling it out, Sana fumbled with it as she pulled it over her aching cock. Jihyo calmly helped Sana out. When her fingers touched the shaft, Sana felt her desires spike up. Jihyoâs touch was like electricity and Sana wanted more. Her eyes wander to the wet folds of Jihyoâs sex, imagining her cock thrusting into it. The image only fueled Sana on and she barely registered that Jihyo has been patiently waiting for her to continue after putting on the condom.
Wait, Sana thought as she tried to ignore the instinct to just rut or something. I have to prepare her, right? Yeah, it might hurt if I just put it in. Should...I? Um? Do I just touch her or push in a finger?
Jihyo finally took the lead after watching Sana seem to freak out by herself for a few minutes. Seeing Sana so fluster was one of Jihyoâs favorite looks and thatâs why she didnât help out sooner. She enjoyed what she made Sana feel and Jihyo started to take pity after watching her suffer a bit longer. Her hand swiftly grabbed Sanaâs length, lining it up with her entrance. She let the tip rub against her sex, eliciting a moan from Sana.
âShouldnât I help you prepare?â Sana asked, whimpering at how possibly tight Jihyo was going to feel.
Jihyo shushed Sana, leading the tip of the cock. What help was how lubricated the condom was, rubbing against her entrance, making sure she was wet enough. Sure, she would have like to have been prepared first but with how nervous Sana was, Jihyo wanted to speed things up. If she got Sana through the motions, instead of explaining it to her, she had faith that the Alpha will learn quicker. âJust take it slow and listen to my voice.â
Sana nodded her head, sighing as the tip of her cock slightly sunk into the quivering hole. Jihyo lined Sana up and, with a light tap of her heel on Sanaâs back, gently urged the Alpha to push in.
What followed was a loud moan from Jihyo, making Sana look up to watch. Her body strained against the immense heat that coated the tip of her shaft and Sana watched as Jihyoâs face became distorted in both pain and pleasure.
âAre you okay?â Sana asked. Jihyo nodded her head, even though she winced. âAre you sure?â
âIt only hurts a bit but Iâm fine, Sana.â Jihyo answered, reaching up to cup Sanaâs cheek. Using the heel of her foot, Jihyo urged Sana to keep pushing, stretching her walls and bringing her a mind-blowing pleasure, tinted with a bit of pain. The pain subsided as Sana was carefully slow. She can see the Japanese girl visibly flinch, as if trying to resist going faster. When half of Sanaâs shaft was inside, it seemed as if the worst was over. With a buck of Jihyoâs hips, Sana was able to slide the rest of her cock inside. They both moan out loud as they completely became one.
âA-a-areâŚâ Sana stuttered, unable to finish her sentence as the white hot heat felt amazing. Jihyoâs walls flutter and tighten around her, making her almost bottom out.
âItâs good, Sana. Iâm okay.â Jihyo whimpered. Her body felt like it was on fire. She felt so full yet unsatisfied. There was a different sort of pain now. Her walls seem to loosen and tighten, wanting some sort of friction. âPlease move, it hurts more now than youâre so still.â
Sana nodded her head. Her hand on Jihyoâs hips, she watch as her cock became unsheathed from the tight cavern, leaving only the tip inside. Then her hips bucked forward, pushing into inviting walls. Jihyo lets out a wail, not in pain but in pure ecstasy. The pain was faint but Jihyo felt the friction elicit a mind-numbing pleasure that shook her core. Her hands dug into Sanaâs upper arms, holding herself from losing her sanity into this sea of heat. Her walls tighten and clenched around Sana, beckoning to move.
The sight of Jihyo under her, her mouth open with heavy pants, her legs spread to accommodate Sana, and the subtle juices that dripped from her cunt in response to the pounding shaft inside of her; all of it was a sight that Sana imprinted on her mind. Her hips began to move again, watching every inch of her cock slid out. Sana watch Jihyoâs swollen lips cling onto her retreating shaft. She licked her lips at the sight. Her ears was filled with Jihyoâs whimpering at being empty. When she thrusted inside, Jihyoâs whimpering turned into heavy moans. Her sex welcomed her cock, sucking it back inside. This kept on. In and out, in and out, in and out until Sana found herself at a rhythm.
Sanaâs hands roamed across Jihyoâs body, exploring new areas she hasnât touched. Across her collarbone, fluttering around her waist, and gripping into her thighs, Sana found her hands touching along the folds of Jihyoâs sex. Her fingers trail over a hooded clit. Pulling it back, Sana watched an angry red clit twitch as her cock rammed inside. The tip of her fingers rubbed against it, making Jihyo squeal and buck her hips.
She felt Jihyoâs walls tighten so harshly that it slowed her pace. It felt like her cock was being swirled and sucked inside, leaving Sana to hang onto the bed sheets as it milked her cock. She could hear Jihyo saying her name like a chant, over and over. Jihyoâs legs tighten around her waist, pushing her closer to the Omega. Sana leaned down to suckle on the pale flesh of Jihyoâs neck, hissing when a rough contraction overcame Jihyo before she fell limp. When her lips left Jihyoâs neck, there was a light red mark.
When Sana got up, Jihyo was whimpering as it caused the shaft inside of her to shift a bit. Her body felt hyper sensitive and Jihyo could barely say anything to encourage Sana to let herself go. Her hazy brown eyes look up at Sana, hoping her silent message would reach the Alpha. Sana felt Jihyoâs walls purposely clench around her and she hissed as it drew a slithering spark to travel down her spine.
It seems that Sana got the message. She wrapped her arms around Jihyoâs waist and thrusted inside with a quicker speed. Jihyo lets out a whine as she clung onto Sana, feeling a numbing pleasure in between her legs. She could hear Sana grunting on top of her and Jihyo whimpered when Sanaâs teeth roughly grazed against her neck again.
âN-No-No mate mark, S-Sana.â Jihyo reminded, knowing she still wanted to keep their relationship a secret.
Sana lets out a low groan but she nodded her head. Her mouth sucked onto Jihyoâs collarbone as her body shuddered with an orgasm that ripped through Sanaâs core. Her body shivered and shook and Sana came, relishing in the pleasure. Deep inside, Sana wishes she was filling Jihyo up but with the busy events in their lives, Jihyo hasnât had the time to take the routine of proper birth control pills. So this will have to do. Making sweet love with Jihyo was more than enough.
Meanwhile, the sensitivity from her first orgasm rocked Jihyo into her second one. Her body felt like it was melting and Jihyo held onto Sana as a lifeline. The Omega muffled her whines and whimpers by kissing along Sanaâs neck. The Alphaâs cock twitched and shook before falling limp. Sana huffed as she rested on Jihyo, fully spent from her orgasm. Their panting filled the room, and it sounded so comforting to both girls. Sana kissed along Jihyoâs jawline before capturing her lips, making her moan.
Jihyo whimpered as Sana pulled out, sighing at the desirable stretched out feeling. She lets out a low hum in approval as Sana pulls the condom off, flinging it into the empty basket next to the bed.
âAre you alright?â Sana asked as she slipped onto her side, spooning Jihyo.
âOf course, I am.â Jihyo answered, purring into Sanaâs embrace. âI love you, Sana.â
âI love you too, Jihyo.â Sana purred before drifting off to sleep.

Could it Be? Chapter 13 (JJ x Reader)
JJ x Reader
CH.1 - CH.2 - CH.3 - CH.4 - CH.5 - CH.6 - CH.7 - CH.8 - CH.9 - CH.10 - CH.11Â - CH.12
Description: She has a crush on JJ, but he has always seen her as another one of the âdudesâ, or  at least thatâs what she thinks so she just doesnât even try anymore, until things start to shift between the two of them. (A/N: IâM NOT GOOD AT DESCRIPTIONS BUT THESE IS JUST WHAT I WOULD LOVE TO HAPPEN IN OUTER BANKS WITH JJ)
Warnings: drinking???
CHAPTER 13
You placed the empty can of beer on the table and noticed JJâs glare set on you as you reached for your fourth drink.
âCan I help you with something?â You spat at him before drunkenly smirking at the blonde.
âI see youâre thirsty.â He grinned as he helped you open the bottle.
âI just want to loosen up and have some fun.â You replied, pouring yourself some tequila and mixing it with a soda.
âFun means danger when it comes to you,â He winked and you rolled your eyes at him.
âThat was one time.â
âWhatever,â he went on, âIâm not letting you get shit-wasted tonight.â
âSays the one whoâs already had six beers,â
âI can handle my alcohol, unlike you.â
You teasingly raised your eyebrow at him as your eyes lit up with a mischievous idea, JJ immediately shaking his head at you but letting out an equally mischievous smile.
âHere,â you handed him a shot of tequila and poured one for yourself as well, âIâll show you I can handle it.â
âI would like to see.â
You raised your tequila shots to each other before gulping down the strong alcohol, your throat burning as the liquid went down.
Time went by and Sarah and John B where nowhere to be found, but you and JJ were having too much fun drinking and talking about nonsense to notice the couple had gone to John Bâs bedroom to do stuff you had no business knowing about.
You wrapped your arms around JJâs neck and playfully slow danced with him, your legs were struggling to move correctly as the alcohol was taking over your system but JJâs arms wrapped around your waist helped you remain steady. Â
Both your faces were flustered form the alcohol and the heat from dancing around, the two of you were clearly drunk but not wasted thanks to JJ taking care of your drinking and not allowing you to mix your drinks.
You looked around the room to see if Sarah and John B were around, and when you didnât see them anywhere near, you took the opportunity to press a quick kiss to JJâs lips. He stared at your eyes in a loving and caring way as you burst into laughter.
âWhatâs so funny?â He asked.
âI just canât believe weâre.. you know..â You struggled to find the words as you didnât know what exactly was going on between you and JJ.
JJâs eyes kept fixed on your, waiting patiently for you to complete your sentence but as he realised you were nowhere near to forming the words, he decided to help you.
âDating?â He whispered and your eyes widened.
âSo we are?â You muttered, a smile forming on your face.
âI mean,â he shrugged and bit his bottom lip, âif you want to, of course.â
You couldnât help but smile wider at him, you knew JJ wasnât one to easily express his feelings, let alone actually get involved in a relationship so this was a pretty big deal for the both of you, especially since this was all happening too fast yet it felt as if the two of you had waited ages for this to come true.
âIâll have to think about it.â You bit the inside of your cheek, noticing JJâs grip tighten and his eyebrows raise in confusion.
âYeah, sure, I mean,â he stuttered and you couldnât help but burst out laughing again, his confusion growing stronger.
âOf course I want to, you idiot.â You cupped his face and sensed him relax on your touch.
The two of you shared a slow and sweet kiss, his movements carefully synching with yours as he pulled you in closer. You opened your mouth to let him explore it as the kiss became more passionate and hungrier, you placed your hands on the nape of his neck and tugged at his hair, gaining a soft moan from him.
âI think we should go home.â You said, your lips inches apart.
âI think I agree.â
Neither of you bothered on letting your friends know you were leaving as they were also busy doing their thing. You took JJâs hand and walked side by side to your place, it was a long walk but you wouldnât have had it any other way.
As you arrived to your house, the two of you hurried upstairs to your room, the tension and urgency filling the air but neither of you daring to make a move.
You sat down on your bed as JJ locked the door even though only the two of you were home. You bit the bottom of your lip as you stared at him. His grey tank top loose enough to show his toned abs and his strong arms making your head spin with unholy thoughts about them.
He turned to face you and you felt your cheeks heat up. No matter how long the two of you had known each other or how close youâd gotten to each other, he never failed to make you get all flustered and nervous.
JJ smirked as soon as he saw the rose tint on your cheeks and your eyes scanning all his body. He slowly walked over to you, your heartbeat speeding up by every step he was taking. The grin on his face kept growing wider as he noticed the effect he was causing on you, enjoying every second of it.
Once he was completely standing in front of you, you looked up at his face and matched your grin with his. Your face was exactly in front of his abdomen, and a bit too close to his lower area, making his heartbeat speed up as well.
Your confidence and urgency to have him all for yourself made you slowly and carefully run your fingers through his abdomen and you tugged at his shirt to signal him to take it off. He didnât think twice before the grey tank top hit the floor and his upper body was bare as your eyes kept processing every inch of him.
Your hands traced his toned stomach and you felt his body twitch at your touch. You smirked to yourself, feeling confident at the effect you were causing on him. Your hand softly made its way lower and you noticed his chest rise up and down quicker as you intentionally but slightly rubbed your palm on his growing bulge, pretending as if it was an accident.
You then played with the waistband of his shorts and pulled them down, leaving him on his trousers which you also teasingly played with the waistband of them and then pushed him further away from you, making him raise an eyebrow at you in confusion. You stood up in front of him and placed a hard but quick kiss on his lips before turning around him.
âSit down,â you demanded, surprised by your sudden urge of dominance.
JJ smirked at you and took your place on the bed, softly wrapping his hands on your waist as you stood in front of him, letting him stare at you while you took your own shirt off, revealing the top of your red bikini.
Your shorts joined your shirt on the ground, leaving you with your red bikini top and bottom which matched the color of JJâs cheeks. You sat on his lap, facing him as you wrapped your legs around his waist and felt his bulge rub against your entrance, which was still covered by the bottom of your bikini.
âY/N,â JJ whispered once you started moving your hips against him.
âMhm,â was all you could bring yourself to say as the friction between the two of you made a tingling sensation intensify between your legs.
âAre you sure about this?â He asked.
You stared at his blue eyes and felt his thumbs stroke your hips. He was genuinely concerned about this, especially after knowing about your past with Rafe and sex.
But this time you felt different. You were sure of JJ and you didnât want to do this with anyone else but him. You trusted him and you loved him, even if you hadnât verbally expressed it to him. Youâd never felt as confident and safe with anyone else as you do now with JJ. You knew you wanted this and you knew you wouldnât regret nor have second thoughts about this.
You gently rubbed his cheeks as you leaned forward to his face, softly placing a loving kiss on his lips.
âIâve never been more sure JJ.â You whispered against his lips as you felt his hands press tighter on your hips.

When Bakugou sees the looming ďżź silhouette ofďżź Endeavor at the hospital outside of Todorokiâs room, he thinks he feels a million emotions at once.
Some heâs familiar with like fury, annoyance, and the protective fire he venomously denies exist are the ones off the top his head. But thereâs also fear. An emotion heâs embarrassedly familiar with. A deep anxiety clawing itâs way out of his chest while still somehow keeping a tight grip on his lungs. It commands he stay rooted in the middle of the bleach white hallways that even so quiet he thinks they must be louder than he is. He wants to say something. He wants to yell, scream, curse, kick the fucker out the goddamn window, but he canât.
Until the number piece of human shit takes a step closer to the door.
âOI! You canât fuckinâ go in there!â
It comes out like the nasty snarl he was hoping for. The pro hero glances at him with a look disdain before reluctantly taking a step away from the door. Bakugou assumes he must not want to cause a scene. Doesnât stop the stubborn shit from arguing with him though.
âHeâs my son, I have a right to visitâ. His tone was clipped, formal, placating, like he was delusional enough to think Bakugou was going to lose this fight.
Bakugou Katsuki was not a loser.
âLast time I checked, trash belongs outside not stinking up disinfected air.â He lets his gaze linger on a door across the hall. âBesides, I donât listen to losers.â
Endeavor seems to puff up like a pissed off cat. God, so thatâs where Strawberry Shortcake gets it from.
He looks like he wants to beat Bakugou into the ground and Bakugou lives by the philosophy of âIf it can crawl, it can brawl.â, so heâs up for anything this fucker has to offer. But he doesnât, instead he closes his eyes and inhales like heâs having an fucking asthma attack.
âYou shouldnât insult your elders.â Endeavor says after a beat. Bakugou huffs a laugh.
âOr what? Youâll hit me?â Itâs an attack and based on the way the hero recoils, he knows it. Everyone knows it. Everyone knows it because it was broadcasted on live television. It was like a car crash, so gruesome but you just canât tear your eyes away until you see that everyone is okay.
However, like a car crash, itâs abundantly clear that no one in the Todoroki family is okay. But, Bakugou didnât find out when the crash happened. No, he knew the truth deep down when he saw the unsteady swerves of one of the drivers who had the audacity to essentially give him first place at the Sports Festival.
Bakugou thinks about that moment a lot. Usually at night when he canât sleep because he feels like someoneâs watching him, he wonders what Todoroki saw that snuffed out the fighting spirit heâd paraded around before their round.
Heâs young, but heâs not naive. Not anymore. He knows, undoubtably, that during their fight Half ân Half didnât see Bakugouâs drive to win, he saw his fatherâs flaming fists.
He feels his usual scowl paint itself onto his face, âHow does it feel knowing your entire family is afraid of you?â The older man doesnât say anything, deciding that floor is much more interesting than the conversation Bakugou wants to have. The conversation he needs to have.
âNumber One Hero, hah?,â he mocks, âYou know, thatâs really fuckinâ funny. Thatâs a hoot ân holler. You could be a stand up comic.â he gives a pause waiting for a reaction. He doesnât get on.
âToo bad they donât like sacks shit lyinâ around.â A pause. âYou didnât answer my question by the way, so tell me, how does it feel knowing your whole family is afraid of you? That you have no friends because you decided you didnât need them, you only needed to be on top. Well,â a sharp bitter laugh echos through the hall, âcongratulations.â
He stalks up to Endeavor and gets up in his personal bubble. He can see a blue eye trained on his own red ones. With a pointed grin, the blond knows he has the manâs attention now, so he keeps going.
âHow does it feel knowing that you lost? And before you open that fuckinâ cavity ridden mouth of yours, youâre gonna listen and youâre gonna listen good.â Endeavor had tried to open his mouth to object because apparently the idea of losing something was getting to him. Bakugou could deal with this.
âHow can you call yourself a hero after everything youâve done? How do you do that? How do you sleep at night knowing that the so-called number one hero can save a civilian but fuckinâ torment his family?â
Endeavor is trying to ignore him. He can tell because his eyes are once again back to the floor. He wonât let him though.
âHow does it feel knowing that, after all these years, even though you won, you lost.â
Bakugou is, and has always been competitive. He wants to be the best, he needs to be the best, because only the best people can be heros. Heâd always adored All Might growing up, but not the same way Deku did.
When Deku saw All Might, he saw a beacon of hope, a peace bringer, an unstoppable force of nature. He saw a role model. A mountain of a man who was as strong as a tiger, yet gentle like a rabbit. Someone who uses their power for good instead of evil.
When Bakugou saw All Might, he saw a winner. A strong man who beat villains into the ground and obtained more money and praise than anyone else could ever hope for in a lifetime. He didnât see a man, he saw a king who had kept a tight hold on his crown. He wanted to take it. So, yes he liked All Might for his position of power, but he respected Endeavor.
Endeavor may have been the number two hero, but Bakugou saw himself in him. He saw the fights on tv with the walls of fire, the punches, the yelling, he saw it all. Endeavor was not like All Might, he never backed away from a fight, never bothered to try and find a peaceful resolution, but he always won. He won with fiery fists and scowls and he didnât smile for the press, he wasnât fake.
Bakugou thought he felt hate for Deku, but now he knows better. This is hate. This feeling in his heart thatâs screaming, hurting, burning.
This is hate.
This is hate because he can see his reflection in this monster draped in human skin.
He sees himself pushing Deku away because he thinks heâs superior, kicking, hitting, burning, screaming, he can see it all. He can see Deku become smaller and smaller and he remembers how happy it made him because Deku knew his place and that meant he won.
He sees Endeavor hitting his wife, screaming til heâs blue in the face at Todoroki, his siblings tear-streaked faces when they realize Touya is never coming home. He sees Todorokiâs determined expression flicker with fear before dropping to the ground like a rag doll. He sees Endeavorâs please smirk turn into a sour scowl because his son didnât get first, he didnât win. He sees Todoroki sitting in the main area while all their classmates pack up to go home for the holidays with raised hackles and paranoid glances at the slightest noise. He sees what once was Todoroki Touya on live tv telling the whole world his fatherâs sins and he wants to make him pay.
He sees the ambition, the anger, the low tolerance for anything that isnât the best, the need to be the best at everything all the time but, Endeavor didnât win, did he?
Endeavor became the number one hero because his rival fell, but he did not win. He was a martyr to the public, but a monster to his family. He was the monster under bed, the demons in their heads, the footsteps they should fear, and the man they should not love, but worship.
He took and took and took until his family had nothing left to give. He sleeps at night uncaring that his family donât have a home they have a graveyard full of phantom memories of the lives they never got to live and the dreams they never got to chase. They get the ghosts in the mirror, a walking corpse for a body, and the perpetual state of mourning the love theyâd never receive.
Then again, maybe Endeavor didnât win or lose, because you canât win a game you arenât even playing. The moment he insulted, or raised a hand to his wife or children, he was disqualified.
Bakugou knows heâs no saint, but heâs not a loser. Heâs worked hard to get his head outta his ass because he already loss. He lost his best friend and any dream filled nights that may have come to him. He learned.
Shaking his head out of his thoughts, he glances back at the man heâd looked up to and respected for many years. A man he hopes karma kills as slowly and subtly as he had with his family. He huffs.
âYeah, I donât like losers. Now, go the fuck home before I call security.â
He backs away but doesnât leave the doorway as the sack of shit made the right choice and shuffled away. Bakugou makes a noise of satisfaction.
The explosive blond glances inside Todorokiâs room where the staff drugged him up on sedatives and silently wills him to get better. Heâll never say it out loud, but they were friends, and he did care.
(He also fears, that maybe, the news is right about how insanity runs in the family and that maybe he didnât chase Endeavor off fast enough before Todoroki lost it completely like his mother and brother. Bakugou hopes that maybe he finally did something good.)
The vibrating of his phone jolts him from his thoughts and he reads the notification.
Shitty Hair: hey bakubro we wanted to know if ur still coming to movie night
Shitty Hair: no stress tho!!! a lots happened so we get it if u wanna skip
Another huff of laughter, this time less bitter, escapes from his lips.
He allows himself to smile and tells Kirishima heâs on his way and that they better not start without him. Yeah.
Bakugou Katsuki is a lot of things, but heâs not a loser.

Y/N L/N AND THE HALFBLOODS
Percy Jackson X Reader
-Y/N L/N met Percy Jackson and everything was now ruined.
CHAPTER 6: WE HAVE BATHROOM INCIDENT
We passed the volleyball pit. Several of the campers nudged each other. One pointed to the minotaur horn Percy was carrying. Another said, "That's him."
Anxious if all the attention, I scooted closer to Percy holding onto his arm. Most of the campers were older than us. Their satyr friends were bigger than Grover, all of them trotting around in orange CAMP HALF-BLOOD T-shirts, with nothing else to cover their bare shaggy hindquarters. The way they stared at me made me uncomfortable. Though I am aware the attention was on Percy. I still felt like they were expecting me to do a flip or something.
I looked back at the farmhouse. It was a lot bigger than I'd realizedâfour stories tall, sky blue with white trim, like an upscale seaside resort. I was checking out the brass eagle weather vane on top when something caught my eye, a shadow in the uppermost window of the attic gable. Something had moved the curtain, just for a second, and I got the distinct impression I was being watched.
"What's up there?" Percy asked Chiron.
He looked where I was pointing, and his smile faded. "Just the attic."
"Somebody lives there?"
"No," he said with finality. "Not a single living thing."
I got the feeling he was being truthful. But I was also sure something had moved that curtain.
"Come along, you two," Chiron said, his lighthearted tone now a little forced. "Lots to see."
We walked through the strawberry fields, where campers were picking bushels of berries while a satyr played a tune on a reed pipe.. . . . . . . . . .
Chiron told me the camp grew a nice crop for export to New York restaurants and Mount Olympus. "It pays our expenses," he explained. "And the strawberries take almost no effort."
He said Mr. D had this effect on fruit-bearing plants: they just went crazy when he was around. It worked best with wine grapes, but Mr. D was restricted from growing those, so they grew strawberries instead.
I watched the satyr playing his pipe. His music was causing lines of bugs to leave the strawberry patch in every direction, like refugees fleeing a fire. I wondered if Grover could work that kind of magic with music. I wondered if he was still inside the farmhouse, getting chewed out by Mr. D.
"Grover won't get in too much trouble, will he?" I asked Chiron.
"Yeah, I mean... he was a good protector. Really." Percy added.
Chiron sighed. He shed his tweed jacket and draped it over his horses back like a saddle. "Grover has big dreams, Percy. Perhaps bigger than are reasonable. To reach his goal, he must first demonstrate great courage by succeeding as a keeper, finding a new camper and bringing him safely to Half-Blood Hill."
"But he did that! He brought two!"
"I might agree with you," Chiron said. "But it is not my place to judge. Dionysus and the Council of Cloven Elders must decide. I'm afraid they might not see this assignment as a success. After all, Grover lost you in New York. Then there's the unfortunate... ah... fate of your mother and Y/N's parents. And the fact that Grover was unconscious when you two dragged him over the property line. The council might question whether this shows any courage on Grover's part."
"He'll get a second chance, won't he?"
Chiron winced. "I'm afraid that was Grover's second chance, Percy. The council was not anxious to give him another, either, after what happened the first time, five years ago. Olympus knows, I advised him to wait longer before trying again. He's still so small for his age... ."
"How old is he?"
"Oh, twenty-eight."
"What! And he's in sixth grade?"
"Satyrs mature half as fast as humans, Percy. Grover has been the equivalent of a middle school student for the past six years."
"That's horrible."
"Quite," Chiron agreed. "At any rate, Grover is a late bloomer, even by satyr standards, and not yet very accomplished at woodland magic. Alas, he was anxious to pursue his dream. Perhaps now he will find some other career... ."
"That's not fair," I said. "What happened the first time? Was it really so bad?"
Chiron looked away quickly. "Let's move along, shall we?"
But I wasn't quite ready to let the subject drop. Something had occurred to me when Chiron talked about Percy's and I's parents' fate, as if he were intentionally avoiding the word death.
"Chiron," Percy said. "If the gods and Olympus and all that are real..."
"Yes, child?"
"Does that mean the Underworld is real, too?"
Chiron's expression darkened.
"Yes, child." He paused, as if choosing his words carefully. "There is a place where spirits go after death. But for now... until we know more... I would urge you to put that out of your mind."
"What do you mean, 'until we know more'?"
"Come, Percy. Let's see the woods.". . ..
As we got closer, I realized how huge the forest was. It took up at least a quarter of the valley, with trees so tall and thick, you could imagine nobody had been in there since the Native Americans.
Chiron said, "The woods are stocked, if you care to try your luck, but go armed."
"Stocked with what?" Percy asked. "Armed with what?"
"You'll see. Capture the flag is Friday night. Do you have your own sword and shield?"
"My ownâ?"
"No," Chiron said. "I don't suppose either of you do. I think a size five will do you both. I'll visit the armory later."
I wanted to ask what kind of summer camp had an armory, but there was too much else to think about, so the tour continued. We saw the archery range, the canoeing lake, the stables (which Chiron didn't seem to like very much), the javelin range, the sing-along amphitheater, and the arena where Chiron said they held sword and spear fights.
"Sword and spear fights?" I asked.
"Cabin challenges and all that," he explained. "Not lethal. Usually. Oh, yes, and there's the mess hall."
Chiron pointed to an outdoor pavilion framed in white Grecian columns on a hill overlooking the sea. There were a dozen stone picnic tables. No roof. No walls.
"What do you do when it rains?" Percy asked.
Chiron looked at me as if I'd gone a little weird. "We still have to eat, don't we?"
Finally, he showed me the cabins. There were twelve of them, nestled in the woods by the lake. They were arranged in a U, with two at the base and five in a row on either side. And they were without doubt the most bizarre collection of buildings I'd ever seen.
Except for the fact that each had a large brass number above the door (odds on the left side, evens on the right), they looked absolutely nothing alike. Number nine had smokestacks, like a tiny factory. Number four had tomato vines on the walls and a roof made out of real grass. Seven seemed to be made of solid gold, which gleamed so much in the sunlight it was almost impossible to look at. They all faced a commons area about the size of a soccer field, dotted with Greek statues, fountains, flower beds, and a couple of basketball hoops (which were more my speed).
In the center of the field was a huge stone-lined firepit. Even though it was a warm afternoon, the hearth smoldered. A girl about nine years old was tending the flames, poking the coals with a stick.
The pair of cabins at the head of the field, numbers one and two, looked like his-and-hers mausoleums, big white marble boxes with heavy columns in front. Cabin one was the biggest and bulkiest of the twelve. Its polished bronze doors shimmered like a hologram, so that from different angles lightning bolts seemed to streak across them. Cabin two was more graceful somehow, with slimmer columns garlanded with pomegranates and flowers. The walls were carved with images of peacocks.
"Zeus and Hera?" I guessed.
"Correct," Chiron said.
"Their cabins look empty."
"Several of the cabins are. That's true. No one ever stays in one or two."
Okay. So each cabin had a different god, like a mascot. Twelve cabins for the twelve Olympians. But why would some be empty?
I stopped when Percy stopped.
"Percy?"
He stood in front of the first cabin on the left, cabin three.
It wasn't high and mighty like cabin one, but long and low and solid. The outer walls were of rough gray stone studded with pieces of seashell and coral, as if the slabs had been hewn straight from the bottom of the ocean floor.
I held his hand and we got closer to the cabin. We peeked inside the open doorway and Chiron said, "Oh, I wouldn't do that!"
Before he could pull us back, I caught a glimpse of the interior walls glowed like abalone. There were six empty bunk beds with silk sheets turned down. But there was no sign anyone had ever slept there. "Come along, you two."
Most of the other cabins were crowded with campers.
Number five was bright redâa real nasty paint job, as if the color had been splashed on with buckets and fists. The roof was lined with barbed wire. A stuffed wild boar's head hung over the doorway, and its eyes seemed to follow me. Inside I could see a bunch of mean-looking kids, both girls and boys, arm wrestling and arguing with each other while rock music blared. The loudest was a girl maybe thirteen or fourteen. She wore a size XXXL CAMP HALF-BLOOD T-shirt under a camouflage jacket. She zeroed in on me and gave me an evil sneer. She reminded me of Nancy Bobofit, though the camper girl was much bigger and tougher looking, and her hair was long and stringy, and brown instead of red.
I kept walking, trying to stay as close as I could to Percy. "We haven't seen any other centaurs," Percy observed.
"No," said Chiron sadly. "My kinsmen are a wild and barbaric folk, I'm afraid. You might encounter them in the wilderness, or at major sporting events. But you won't see any here."
"You said your name was Chiron. Are you really..."
He smiled down at me. "The Chiron from the stories? Trainer of Hercules and all that? Yes, Percy, I am."
"But, shouldn't you be dead?"
Chiron paused, as if the question intrigued him. "I honestly don't know about should be. The truth is, I can't be dead. You see, eons ago the gods granted my wish. I could continue the work I loved. I could be a teacher of heroes as long as humanity needed me. I gained much from that wish... and I gave up much. But I'm still here, so I can only assume I'm still needed."
I thought about being a teacher for three thousand years. It wouldn't have made my Top Ten Things to Wish For list.
"Doesn't it ever get boring?"
"No, no," he said. "Horribly depressing, at times, but never boring."
"Why depressing?"
Chiron seemed to turn hard of hearing again.
"Oh, look," he said. "Annabeth is waiting for us."
* * *
The blond girl I'd met at the Big House was reading a book in front of the last cabin on the left, number eleven.
When we reached her, she looked us critically.
I tried to see what she was reading, but I couldn't make out the title. I thought my dyslexia was acting up. Then I realized the title wasn't even English. The letters looked Greek to me. I mean, literally Greek. There were pictures of temples and statues and different kinds of columns, like those in an architecture book.
"Annabeth," Chiron said, "I have masters' archery class at noon. Would you take Percy and Y/N from here?"
"Yes, sir."
"Cabin eleven," Chiron told me, gesturing toward the doorway. "Make yourself at home."
Out of all the cabins, eleven looked the most like a regular old summer camp cabin, with the emphasis on old. The threshold was worn down, the brown paint peeling. Over the doorway was one of those doctor's symbols, a winged pole with two snakes wrapped around it. What did they call it... ? A caduceus.
Inside, it was packed with people, both boys and girls, way more than the number of bunk beds. Sleeping bags were spread all over on the floor. It looked like a gym where the Red Cross had set up an evacuation center.
Chiron didn't go in. The door was too low for him. But when the campers saw him they all stood and bowed respectfully.
"Well, then," Chiron said. "Good luck, Percy, Y/N. I'll see you at dinner."
He galloped away toward the archery range.
I stood in the doorway, looking at the kids. They weren't bowing anymore. They were staring at us. I knew this routine. I'd gone through it at enough schools.
"Well?" Annabeth prompted. "Go on."
So naturally Percy tripped coming in the door and made a total fool of himself, almost taking me with him but I had let go of him as he fell. There were some snickers from the campers, but none of them said anything.
Annabeth announced, "Percy Jackson, Y/N L/N, meet cabin eleven."
"Regular or undetermined?" somebody familiar asked.
I didn't know what to say, but Annabeth said, "Undetermined."
Everybody groaned.
"Now, now, campers. That's what we're here for. Welcome, Percy and Y/N. You can have that spot on the floor, right over there. Y/N can have the bed over there."
"Luke." I smiled. He replied with a grin and ruffled my hair.
"Uh?"
"This is Luke," Annabeth said, and her voice sounded different somehow. I glanced over and could've sworn she was blushing. She saw me looking, and her expression hardened again. "He's your counselor for now."
"For now?" Percy asked.
"You're undetermined," Luke explained patiently. "They don't know what cabin to put you in, so you're here. Cabin eleven takes all newcomers, all visitors. Naturally, we would. Hermes, our patron, is the god of travelers."
I looked at the tiny section of floor they'd given Percy. He was a few spots away from mine.
I looked around at the campers' faces, some sullen and suspicious, some grinning stupidly, some eyeing me as if they were waiting for a chance to pick my pockets.
"How long will we be here?" Percy asked.
"Good question," Luke said. "Until you're determined."
"How long will that take?"
The campers all laughed.
"Come on," Annabeth told us. "I'll show you the volleyball court."
"I've already seen it."
"Come on." She grabbed Percy's wrist and dragged him outside. Percy took my hand to come with him, I could hear the kids of cabin eleven laughing behind us.
"See you at dinner." Luke waved.
When we were a few feet away, Annabeth said, "Jackson, you have to do better than that."
"What?"
She rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath, "I can't believe I thought you were the one. Maybe it was Y/N."
"What's your problem?" Percy was getting angry now. "All I know is, I kill some bull guyâ"
I gripped his shoulder trying to calm him.
"Don't talk like that!" Annabeth told me. "You know how many kids at this camp wish they'd had your chance?"
"To get killed?"

MSA: Take Back The Future (part 3)
Summary: Vivi and Arthur travel back in time to the beginning of Hellbent. Neither of them are okay.Â
(Part 1)Â (Part 2)
.
Mystery, instead of answering Viviâs questions, leaps over the seat dividing the front and back areas of the van, exiting out the back doors.
âWait, â Vivi yells after Mystery, âget to back here and explain what happened to my memories.â
/It is not a tale that can be simply told. Not right now when we may be in danger/
Arthur thinks kitsune turned dog sounds slightly strained but itâs hard to really tell with Mysteryâs weird telepathy. When the meaning of words are projected right into your brain some of the nuance is lost.
âWho is Shiromori? Why is she attacking us?â Vivi tries, following to glare at Mystery who circles the van, barely paying attention to the two of them. âJust answer one question!â
His mechanical arm twitches of its own accord and he eyes it nervously. Â To hell with it. Arthur frees his hand and begins to feel about for the quick release lever hidden under a panel on his upper arm. After the van crash and almost getting thrown to his death, the arm had been too banged up to safely remove, jamming in place. Â Best to be rid of it now, before everything when to shit all over again.
The sound of his heavy metal arm hitting the ashfelt draws Viviâs attention and she turns to give him a quizzical expression.
âBetter off then on,â He explains, âWasnât really working that well anyway. Hopefully, thatâll get rid of the curse as well.â Honestly, this cruse is the least of his worries.
Vivi exhales and Arthur can see the stress pinching her mouth, pulling it down into an uncharacteristic frown, âIf the curse is specifically attached to your arm then removing it might work. On the other hand, if itâs anything like the one that got my memories then who the hell knows what will work. I certainly donât. Apparently, I donât know a lot of things.â
The last sentence is louder, directed at Mystery. There is no response from the dog who is staring off into the middle distance, head to one side like he is listening intently for something.  Arthur offers Vivj an uneasy shrug. He has his own questions for Mystery regarding Viviâs memories, his arm, and the night they both went missing. However, his most recent run-in with dead-Lewis has him quickly reordering his priorities. None of the answers are going to mean much if heâs dead. AgainâŚ
Speaking of which⌠On the horizon, a purple light flares, glowing brightly against the dark backdrop. Arthurâs mouth goes suddenly dry and limbs feel very cold. Yeah, that seamed about rightâŚ
/You called this spirit Lewis?/ Mystery turns his head to examine him, expression troubled. /Are you sure?/ Â
He gives a short nod, eyes darting from Mystery then back to the road. It looks like Mystery is planning something based on how his fur is glowing red. Heâd seen a similar red glow on the night of Lewisâs disappearance and during the confrontation outside his Uncleâs workshop. How much did Mystery know about Lewis? The question sticks in his mind, painfully heavy.
âLewis? You mean the purple fire ghost? The one that caused the van crash?â Vivi steps up next to him, eyes locked onto the truck which grows quickly larger, âHow are we going to stop it from running us all over?â
Itâs too late to try a drive or run away now. Even if he decides to run there is a steep rocky slope on one side and a sharp climb on the other. If he did make it down by some miracle there was just flat desert and no cover for miles. Arthur doesnât voice this observation instead commenting in a voice several octaves higher than normal, âI donât think you need to worry about the ghost running you over. Iâm pretty sure heâs only after me. SoâŚahâŚmaybe donât stand near me?â
Why? Why was Lewis trying to hurt him? In his mindâs eye, Lewis and Mystery meld together into a nightmare inferno of fire, teeth and death.
âI donât want you to get run over either.â Viviâs voice sounds faint, coming to him like it has travelled a great distance. Too much fear packed into too short a timeframe is making it harder and harder to concentrate. The ice at her feet thickens into long sheets, which creep out over the road, freezing it solid. He is probably lucky his remaining arm hasnât frozen off with how tight Vivi had been holding it. Maybe if he turns into a giant Arthur icicle and he can sit this whole thing out. The hysterical thought momentarily breaks through his mounting panic. Â
/Wait./
Arthur can almost hear the crackle of fire and the hum of the truck's engine.
/ You should not be drawing on so much of this power at once! Youâll damage the seal further!/
âIâm not letting Arthur die again. Anything comes near us and Iâll make whoever it is, regret it⌠that includes you.â
Vivi steps out so she is positioned in the centre of the road.
/I can handle this confrontation. There are still many aspects to the situation that you remain unaware of./
âAnd how am I supposed to fix that if you wonât tell me anything.â
/ I swear I will explain when there is more time. I only ever wanted to protect you./
âI donât believe you.â
Vivi snaps the final sentence and punctuates it with a sharp hand gesture aimed at the oncoming truck. Several lines of ice stretch out and down the road, racing away from Vivi to meet the oncoming vehicle. Shining an ethereal blue, the frost coats the roadâs surface, smoothing it over. Arthur catches the briefest glimpse of skeletal Lewis before the truck hits the ice sheets and the wheels suddenly lose traction. Â The sound of metal crunching is deafening, accompanied by the hiss of water abruptly vaporising. Heat and cold collide in a cacophony cracking ice and explosion of steam.
A flash of bright purple fire. Mystery disappears, obscured by the thick columns of steam. He finds himself being yanked to the side by Vivi just in time to watch the purple truck careen past in a shower of sparks and groaning metal. At such high speeds, it rams straight into and through the guardrails separating the road from the rocky slope. Stunned, Arthur watches it disappear over the edge. If Lewis hadnât already been dead then Arthur might have been worried. The sound of banging and crashing, as the truck presumably roles several times, has him physically wincing. Scratch that, he was worried. Very worried. Worried enough that it overtakes his mental panic and replaces it with deep concern. How durable were ghosts? He doesnât know and that scares him.Â
âVivi! What the hell,â He finally manages to spit out, breaking his panic-induced stupor. He tries to rush past her, intent on checking for any signs of Lewis. He promptly slips. The combination of ice and his lack of a second arm throws off his balance and he ends up falling backward. He is saved from a collision with the ground by Vivi who seemed to now have supernatural levels of balance and was unaffected by the slippery surface.
âI âŚwow. That was⌠something.â Vivi breaths, examining the road still covered in planes of ice as if not quite believing it.
âHelp me to the edge,â He interrupts, trying and failing to stand straight collapsing back on her, âI need to see if heâs okay,â
âWhoâs okay? The ghost?"
âYes.â
"You want to see if the ghost is okay? You said it was trying to hurt you?â
Arthur can practically see the concern and confusion now hanging over Vivi as she looks down from where she's holding him up by his one good arm.
âItâs justâŚa misunderstanding or something. IâŚweâŚmight know this ghost.â
âWhat?â
âJust help me check.â He motions with his remaining arm. Visible through the plums of steam are thicker lines of darkened smoke coming from the space where the truck had disappeared.
....
Note: Iâm Sorry to everyone whoâs showed interest in this AU but iâm not sure if iâll continue this since iâve lost motivation.  Here are some of the more coherent plot notes if people are interested in this AU. Feel free to ask questions if u have any :) .Â
...
-Â Â Shiromori shows up directly after Lewisâs crash, distracting Mystery. With all the steam obscuring their vision Arthur and Vivi donât realise that Shiromori has arrived immediately, and there is enough time to briefly look for Lewis.Â
- Lewis makes it out of the truck crash only slightly worse for wear and tries to attack Arthur. Vivi moves to defend Arthur, then Arthur has to defend Lewis and itâs all very awkward for everyone.Â
- Lewis sees how scared Arthur is a reconsiders his revenge plot, hesitating long enough to get some dialogue in.Â
 - Arthur finally gives Vivi a brief Lewis overview (sans the whole âhe almost threw me off a fake cliff thingâ). Vivi is suspicious and somewhat unconvinced. Lewis is slightly confused when Vivi starts referring to the alternate time line.Â
- Not time for further discussion because Mystery is fighting Shiromori and, since he had warning this time, heâs winning.Â
(fight scene stuff. Vivi rushes in to do something idk this part is not planned.)Â
Vivi overused ice abilities.Â
Lewis and Arthur have a moment alone.Â
Vivi, slightly untrusting of Mystery, ends up stepping to stop the two from fighting. (Vivi ends up saving  Shiromori maybe??? a parallel to the original timeline). A dramatic moment where Vivi rushes in ( maybe takes a blow for Shiromori idk would depend on Shiromoriâs backstory) and ends up injured.Â
- ??? makes an appearance, takes over Vivi instead of Mystery.Â
Some background world building stuff
- Viviâs ice powers might become unsealed and she is vulnerable to ??? (spiritual energy is damaging to humans if too much is used at once or if is not used correctly)
- Yukino family are spiritual channels making them both more powerful and more vulnerable. Mystery holds a seal to the ability and it eats up a tails worth of power to maintain. Same deal with Shiromori, Mystery holds a seal to keep her fully realised abilities in check which also eats up a lot of power.
- The seal is damaged when Mystery is hurt
- Arthur is unaffected by the ice because heâs got some odd time based supernatural power which has bonded to vivi spiritual signtaure as well. This is the reason ??? want to possess Arthur. One possible resolution was for Arthur to figure out how to rewind time to the seconds before Vivi gets possessed, giving her a chance to defeat ???. It takes a lot of power which Lewis ends up giving to him.Â

We touched down on the private tarmac in Cordonia. âLetâs go, Riley, Mara is waiting for you with the kids.â Liam stated as he grabbed my hand and pulled me from my seat. âWhy are the kids here Liam?â I asked, confused. Liam ignored my question as we made our way off the jet. Ellie and William were hand in hand with Lindsay as we disembarked. I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks in embarrassment. I had no idea what Liam had told her or what she knew. âMommy Daddy!â Our children's small voices exclaimed at our arrival. Together. Â They both were the spitting image of their father with their blonde hair and blue eyes. Neither received my hair and caramel eyes. I always felt the stark contrast between my family.Â
Liam picked up our four year old daughter and swirled her around in his arms into a tight hug. He knelt down and reached his arm to his namesake, our son William. âDaddy has to go on another trip, but mommy is staying this time.â Liam kissed both of their hands. I felt taken off guard by his revelation. âLiam?â I questioned. âIâm going away for awhile Riley. I need to figure things out.â He whispered making sure to not let the little ears around us catch on. Olivia is coming from Lythikos to help.â Liam turned back towards the jet. âWait, Liam.â I called after him. Liam stopped in his tracks. He didnât turn. âItâs for the best Riley.â He boarded the jet and the door closed behind him.Â
I felt the tears forming in my eyes and my labor breathing to take over. But my children were watching, I couldnât let them know their world was crashing down around them. Lindsay helped me load the children into the suv while Mara loaded my bags into the suv. I never spoke a word about Liam's departure, nor anything else. Regret filled me once again, as we watched my husband fly into the dark horizon. I lost a piece of me on that jet with him. He took a piece of me everywhere with him. I tear trickled down my cheek at the realization of my selfishness.Â
I watched my wife, who just a few months ago I adored and trusted unconditionally, load our children into the black Escalade. I had no idea whether she would go back to the palace or Valtoria. Probably Valtoria so she could stew in her regret in private. Her face when I said I was leaving, filled with guilt that she attempted to hide. Why she did what she did I didnât know, and right now I donât care. We fought to be with her. I almost gave up my country for her. I made her a Queen, I gave her two beautiful children and I tried to show her everyday how much I loved her. But it wasnât enough.Â
I grabbed a bottle of liquor. No glass was needed. Iâm headed for the solace of the beach. My island. It was a short flight but intended to be completely inebriated on arrival. I planned to drink my feelings away until Iâm able to sort them out. âSir, we have about forty five minutes until we land on the island.â The flight attendant spoke to me. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and swiped it open. A text from Bastien had come through while my jet was on the ground.Â
âOn the ground with Walker. Heâs meeting Mrs. Walker at the Walker Estate. Leo confirmed he would look after Riley in your absence. Godspeed sir.â
I sighed a breath of relief that Bastien and Leo would be there in my stead as I worked things out. I scrolled to my photo album and pulled the photo of Riley and I from our last anniversary trip a few months ago. Before I found about her infidelity and Drakeâs betrayal. I stared at the photo of Riley and I. I donât know what happened or why. We were so happy. At least I thought we were. I took another large gulp from the bottle in my hand.Â
Am I better off without her? Did we grow apart? Did she ever love me? The thoughts consumed me as I consumed the bottle of amber liquid in my hand.Â
Drake slithered into my thoughts like a rattlesnake looking for warmth in a frozen desert. I canât deal with the thoughts of his betrayal with my wife. Iâd sooner banish him from Cordonia but Lindsay but didnât deserve it. I took a few more swigs from the bottle of scotch in front of me to numb the feelings of anger and betrayal I felt towards the most important people in my life.Â
We landed on the island Riley and I had spent our honeymoon. My island. I disembarked from the jet to the sounds of the loud thump of music in the distance. âWhatâs going on Anthony?â I asked as I stumbled down the stairs of the jet. âCordonia University college students sir. You approved their use of the island for their spring festivities.â My security officer informed me. âFuck. I forgot about that.â I took another swig of the half empty bottle of scotch in my hand.
âMight as well join the party, fuck it.â I attempted not to slur my words, failing miserably.Â
âAre you sure thatâs a good idea, you just flew 13 hours sir.âÂ
âYup.â I responded. I was starting to get annoyed by Anthonyâs presence. âIâll be fine. Take my bags to the beach house.â Anthony bowed and headed to the cargo area of the place.Â
I made my way to the resort filled with drunk college kids. The thumping of the music grew louder as I neared the large pool and cabana area.Â
I went wheels up on a runwayÂ
And that ticket was a one way
Iâm somewhere on a beach sippinâ something strongÂ
Got a new girl sheâs got it going onÂ
Was thumping over the speakers. How fitting I thought.Â
All of a sudden screams and cheers erupted drowning out the music.Â
âKing Liam has arrivedâ came over the speakers.Â
A smile spread across my face as the screams grew louder. I walked to the DJ booth and took the microphone from the extended hand of the disc jockey, no invitation necessary.Â
âCordonian University! Go big Red!â I yelled into the microphone. The screams erupted. The bikini clad girls and shirtless men hooped and hollered as they held their red solo cups of cheap alcohol in the air. I waited for the screams to calm before I continued. âI have a task for you all tonight. Weâre going to drink until I canât remember what I came here to forget!âÂ
Bottles of champagne popped and sprayed over the crowd. Splashes came from the pool as young legs students jumped in. I made my way into the crowd of dancing bodies.
A few hours of drinking and partying my worries away with a bunch of young college students, I had my friends with a small group that had convinced me to do a keg stand. I handed my phone to a young brunette named Brittany. âRecord it.â As I handed her the phone, the Queen rang with a FaceTime call. âLiamâ Brittany called, âthe QUEEN is calling.â I didnât hear what she said. I threw my legs in air and sucked on the keg spout as Brittany hit the green button. Riley watched as I chugged cheap beer. The crowd around me chanted âLong Live the King!â as I chugged. âFOR CORDONIA!!â I screamed as I jumped to my feet with my arms in the air.
âSir itâs the Queen.â Brittany handed my phone to me, her face white as a sheet. âLIAM WERE THE FUCK ARE YOU.â Riley screamed through the phone, her face filled with anger.
âHey my Queen. Iâm somewhere on a beach. I'm way too gone to have you on my mind.â I laughed and hit the end button and threw my phone into the pool.Â

Series: Fire Emblem Three Houses Type: One shot Main pairing: Dimileth (Dimitri & F!Byleth) Rated: T Genre: hurt/comfort, pre-ts Summary: An AU based on what happens after Jeralt's death (F!Byleth/Dimitri). Hope you enjoy!
âBut the moment she walks out into the brisk cold air, the uncomfortable sensation seeps back into her veins, crawling up her chest. Sheâs surrounded by so many, yetâŚ
She tilts her head up ever so slightly to see that no one is in front of her.â
A/N: Thanks for taking the time to read! This is my first FE3H fic, so I apologize if anyone is OOC. Just a self-indulgent variation of what happens after Jeralt's death! I'm weak for Dimileth ;-;Â
(PS. i like to hc that the hug is parallel to when byleth hugs dimitri post ts after he holds her hand bc they would hug!!!)
You can also read this on ao3!
Yearning is a foreign concept, a concept that Byleth cannot grasp. It escapes through the crevices between her fingers like sand, dripping down into the darkness, disappearing.
She knew what it was when she saw it, years ago when it was just the two of themâjust Byleth and Jeralt, Jeralt and Byleth. Trudging through mud and sludge during monsoon rains, through the dry, scorching hot desert heat, through the blissful warm dawn that peaked behind the vast mountains, they met all sorts of people.
When they stopped by a small village in the middle of winter, there was a woman who stood outside the door to her house, wrapped in a woolen shawl, staring out into the white abyss.
Her blue eyes were glassy, far away. Her lips pressed into a tight line as she hugged the shawl around her frail arms. She was so still, Byleth wasnât sure if she was human or a statue. She couldnât tear her eyes from her.
âWhat are you looking at, Byleth?â Jeralt asked, looking up briefly from his bowl of hot soup.
âThat womanâŚâ Byleth trailed off, pointing out the window. âWhat is she doing with her face?â
âWhat is she doing with her face?â Jeralt echoed back with confusion, leaning out toward the window now too. She heard him mutter a disapproval under his breath as he returned back to his seat. âShe yearns for something to return.â
âYearn?â
He paused for a moment, as he grasped to find an explanation that was as simple as it could be. âA desire, a want. Sometimes, it feels like a need.â Jeralt sighed, patting the seat next to him. âCome on and eat, Byleth. Youâll get wintersâ chills from staying too close to the window.â
Byleth didnât tear her gaze from the woman until Jeralt placed a hand on top of her head and turned it forward so that she was facing her warm bowl of soup. She had the urge to run out into the snow to give it to that woman.
And now years later, Byleth understands, as she holds Jeraltâs increasingly cold body in her arms.
At first, all she can do is let her tears drip onto his ashen face, as it mixes with the light drizzle of the rain.
Then came the emptiness that crept its way into her chest as his blood continued to spill onto the fabric of her clothes, soaking in his death.
âProfessor?â
Byleth blinks, and instead of seeing Jeraltâs cold, decaying body in her arms, her studentâs homework assignments are tucked snuggly in them.
âYes, Dimitri?â Byleth hears herself say as she levels her eyes at his neck, finding herself unable to raise them.
âI⌠Are you⌠Have you eaten?â Dimitri fumbles with his words, his arms reach out toward her but retreat back just as fast.
âMaybe later.â Byleth steps to the side to walk past him, hugging the papers to her chest.
Rhea had told her to take the rest of the week off yesterday, butâ
Byleth winces at the pressure building up in her head as she hurries back to her room. Several hushed whispers follow her trail, as if theyâre chasing her, and the moment she shuts the door behind her the tears donât hesitate to dribble down her cheeks. She clamps a hand over her mouth as sounds escape through her trembling lips, a sensation unfamiliar to the point where fear is etched into her heart.
âRest if you must, child. Do not fight against what you are feeling.â Sothisâ soft voice soothes her increasingly jumbled thoughts.
Byleth wipes the back of her hand against her damp cheeks as she sets the papers down on her desk. Promptly after, she draws herself under her covers, staring out the window, as she watches the sky turn from blue to orange, then finally to darkness. The time lapse soothes her. She finds that focusing on the drifting clouds distracts her thoughts. Every once in a while though, steps shuffled to a stop at her door, but no one ever knocks.
Not until late into that night did a knock interrupt the silence in her room.
âProfessor! Itâs me, AnnetteâŚâ Her voice trailed off at the end, quietly.
Byleth, stiff from staying in one position for hours, creakily raises herself from the bed, her joints pop from the stillness of her body. She can feel the flesh of her own self, but it feels like nothing in that moment.
Minutes must have passed, Byleth assumes, before she opens the door. Itâs long enough to the point where Byleth wouldnât have been surprised if Annette left, but she stands there, putting on her brightest smile.
âMercedes and I have a gift for you!â Annette wrestles with the gigantic woolen blanket tangled up in her arms. âWe were supposed to give this to you at the start of winter, but it became a lot bigger than we anticipated!â She smiles cheekily as she shuffles it into Bylethâs arms. âWe noticed that your blankets are pretty thinâŚâ
âOh, thank youâŚâ Bylethâs voice comes out raspy. She hugs it closer to her body, eating up the warmth. ââŚDo you have more?â
Annetteâs hesitant eyes lit up.
The next morning, she wakes up extra early to prepare herself, to let the tears dribble down her cheek effortlessly as her face remains slack. The same unfamiliar emotion from the day before, when she came back from the classroom. One that was too hard to control, and so she decides it would be best to try to get rid of it before teaching class. Only two days have passed since his death, yet it feels like a lifetime without him.
Itâs a simple plan to get her emotions in check, a plan that takes her three hours to overcome, and not even successfully at that. Redness rims the outlines of her eyes, apparent on her pale skin.
As she walks into the classroom, with her cheeks slightly flushed red from her constant rubbing, she feels the gaze of each and every studentâs eyes on her. A heavy silence settles in the room as she sets down her paperwork.
The chattering and murmuring ceases as Byleth looks up toward her students. Her eyes are trained ahead of her as she feels their stares boring into her skin. Sheâs careful not to look directly at anyone. She has an inkling that nothing good would come out of it.
After what feels like grueling hours, a break from lessons is gifted upon her, and most of them shuffle out as quietly as they can. As they did so, the tenseness in her chest begins to rise once more at the realization of everyone leaving.
But one student lingers by the door with his fingers tapping the frame. The longer he stands there, the tighter her shoulders stiffen. The grip on her pencil becomes deathly as he takes a step back into the classroom, but the aching feeling in her chest pauses in growth.
âProfessor?â His voice sounds careful, delicate.
It does nothing but anger herâthe messy, tangled knots that had hung themselves inside her begin to tighten.
âYes, Dimitri?â She says in a voice so strained that she notices he shudders slightly at the sharpness in her voice, but it doesnât stop him from taking another step forward.
Whatever heâs about to say never comes forward, as his hesitance informs Byleth that heâs rethinking his initial thoughts.
âWill you look at me?â
She stops scribbling. She had stopped paying attention to what she was even writing the minute class ended. She sneaks a glance down at the paper. Sprawled on one of the studentâs assignments is his name.
Jeralt.
Scribbled aimlessly, ripping through the thin material easily. She decimated someoneâs assignment. And she could tell Dimitri had noticed it the moment she began writing once class ended.
Useless. All of this power stored within me and I was, am, still unable to do a simple thing.
She takes a moment to compose her thoughts, carefully placing them in areas where no one can seek them out, and averts her gaze from the paper to Dimitri.
Unlike Byleth, Dimitri is willing to display his emotions on his faceâthe way his lips form a thin line of concern, eyebrows scrunched up in worry, eyesâŚ
His blue eyes, bright and brilliant, looking at her as if she is lost.
Bylethâs face grows warm from shame and she immediately glances back down at the torn paper. How can she, a mentor, a teacher, make a student feel the need to look at her with such worry? Was it pity?
Pity only reminds her of the newfound weakness thatâs bloomed inside of her.
Just like the blood that bloomed on Jeraltâs waist, vibrant and displayed for all to see.
Could everyone see right through her? Fear pierces through her at the mere thought of being so naked.
âPerhaps another time, Dimitri.â Byleth closes her eyes as she stands up, forcing herself to let go of the pencil thatâs choking from her deathly tight grip. âI have somewhere to attend, and I donât want to be lateââ She swiftly gathers the assignments into her arms, keeping her eyes leveled just at his neck, like yesterday, to avoid his gaze.
As she passes by him, eager to get out, sheâs stilled by the grip on her arm, his grip. Soft enough to break out of, if she wants to.
âOhâ! I apologize.â He immediately lets go, flustered. âI justâProfessor, if you need to talk, I... we are here for you.â
âIâm fine, but thank you. Iâll see you tomorrow.â She doesnât hesitate to leave, and never once turns back to look at him.
But the moment she walks out into the brisk cold air, the uncomfortable sensation seeps back into her veins, crawling up her chest. Sheâs surrounded by so many, yetâŚ
She tilts her head up ever so slightly to see that no one is in front of her.
Later in the evening, Rhea deeply reprimands Byleth after learning that she had taught class during the past two days, demanding that she rest. But Byleth doesnât need restâshe doesnât wantâ
She doesnât want to be alone.
But she canât tell Rhea that. The words get stuck in her throat, so she simply nods and walks away.
The memory of the pale lady standing in the snow resurfaces to the forefront of her mind, reminding her of the little warmth she harbored within herself.
Byleth scoops up the two woolen blankets that Annette had given her and buries herself within them, relaxing herself into the warmth. Even when she begins to sweat, even when the air becomes uncomfortably suffocating, Byleth does not move.
Loneliness creeps up behind her during the darkest hours of night, when the Monestary is silent and sleepy. She watches the last light flicker off, leaving the buildings, the grandness of it, hollow.
She wants to hold on to that last flickering light, she doesnât want it to go out. But every night it did, and it sunk her deeper into the fog.
She doesnât come out during the daytime, ever since Rhea advised her to rest. She doesnât answer the door when someone knocks, unless itâs Annette bringing her more woolen blankets. On most days itâs Dimitri at her door. He begins by knocking courtesly, announcing his arrival, and asks politely if they can speak. But as time progresses, he stops such polite gestures, and at this point, almost begs her to speak to him, to them, to anyone.
But Byleth stays under the comfort of her woolen blankets, only coming out to eat when the peak hours of the day have been long gone, or to walk to Jeraltâs grave so she can lean against it, to stare at the stars above them.
At some point, she can tell who is who by the way their footsteps echo outside her door. Dimitriâs is distinct, although the softest. Her door creaks whenever he approaches, as if heâs leaning against it. The thought of someone on the other side helps her head bob above the wave of darkness.
âDo you truly wish to stay in your room any longer than this, child? Iâm sure your students are awaiting your return.â
Sothisâ voice rings in her head, the only other reminder that Byleth is still here, present in time.
âI am no good to my students right now.â Byleth merely whispers into her pillow. Useless.
The unknown yearning grows deeper and uglier inside of her, conflicting with the rational thoughts that usually keep her mind neat and tidy. She desperately wants to be with others, to drink in their affection as if she is a starved beast, but another part of her doesnât want a brush of someones skin on her own.
Her wants and needs become muddled in the yearning, and the nights grow ever colder.
By the middle of the third week, she crawls out of her cave of a room later than usual. Itâs deathly quiet as Byleth treks her way to Jeraltâs grave.
She settles on the damp grass, placing another flower on it.
She opens her mouth to say something, but nothing comes out. Nothing but emptiness escapes it. She grits her teeth as she clenches her fists. âI have nothing to say,â she manages to whisper out, staring hard at his name, engraved carefully on the stone. âAll I wish for is your return. Nothing but emptiness and anger remains in me, and Iâm afraid.â Sheâs afraid of becoming the ashen demon that follows her footsteps, it echoes throughout the Monestary, reminding her of who she is. It reminds her that no matter how much she tries tacking herself into this place, acting as if she can wriggle her way into an environment filled with such love and affection, she will never be able to understand such abstract emotions.
She makes her way to the other side of the gravestone, behind it, to lean against it.
The crunch of leaves behind her jolts her up from the depths of her mind. She flits her head around, her hand unconsciously hovers over the dagger attached to her hips.
An alarmed Dimitri stands not too far off from her with something in his arms--
One of Annetteâs woolen blankets.
It almost drops as he awkwardly tries to adjust it so that itâs not threatening to hit the damp grass.
âIââ He mutters something to himself as he fumbles with the blanket. âI was just about to give this to you, as Iâve heard youâve been quite cold in your room recently. I also noticed that your room was slightly ajar⌠so I assumed⌠a-anyway! This is a gift from Annette, I heard you accept these whole heartedly.â He holds out the blanket toward her stiffly, covering his face.
âDid you think Iâd open the door since you had one?â Byleth responds back, staring at the bundle in his arms. Her fists relax slightly as her attention focuses on Dimitri.
As he draws the blankets back to his chest, his face grows ten shades of red hotter than the last.
He flusters and stumbles over his words as he tries to come up with some believable excuse, but as he settles his gaze on Bylethâs blank, stoic expression, he lets out a sigh, his shoulders sagging.
âActually, yes. Since she told me that you open the door whenever sheâs there. Although she did say that you do close it immediately after accepting the blanket.â He tilts his head, offering a reluctant laugh. The simplicity of the act, for some reason, warms her. His laugh is something she hasnât heard in a while.
Byleth casts her gaze to the ground. A silence ensues between them. âI do apologize for my actions the past couple of days.â She says slowly, unable to reach his eyes again. âThank you for always stopping by. Iâve noticed you tend to sit by the door a couple hours every day.â
His face grows another shade deeper.
âYou noticed?â
âThe door creaks whenever you lean against it.â
He mutters another string of words that she canât make out.
Byleth raises her view from his lips to his eyes, and they lock on immediately. âWould you like to sit with me?â He went out of his way to find her, this is the least she could offer.
For once, a small smile rests on her rather chapped lips.
His eyes brighten.
âOf course!â He smiles ever so slightly, draping the blanket in front of Byleth, who stiffens in surprise at his gesture.
âItâs a bit cold tonight, I wouldnât want our dear professor catching a cold.â He plops down next to her, arms loosely around his knees.
She had forgotten that sheâs still in her night wear when she went out. How unsightlyâŚ
But Dimitri is no better, since heâs also in his nightly attire as well. Byleth frowns at the thought of him getting sick due to her negligent attitude toward her students, and raises up an arm, holding the blanket open. âWe wouldnât want you catching a cold either.â
He blinks blankly, as if heâs unable to process what sheâs offering. Byleth scoots closer to him and drapes the woolen blanket over the both of them.
âThis seems a bit⌠snug?â Dimitri laughs, almost robotically as he stares at the ground. He does not meet her gaze as she stares at the side of his face.
âEven better. Now the heat will be more concentrated.â Byleth nods in approval as she leans against the back of the gravestone. They sit there in silence.
After a while, Dimitri relaxes his shoulders. âIâm sorry there was nothing I could do.â He says, his voice soft.
âDonât apologize. Itâs not your fault. Itâs mine.â Byleth takes no hesitation in taking the blame.
âProfessor, of course notââ
âI had the ability to save him.â Bylethâs voice quivers as she recounts the memory, staring at the starry sky above them. âI feelâŚâ She pauses, closing her eyes. âUnlike myself recently. I find it hard to process⌠a variety of unfamiliar emotions that I am experiencing.â Even saying that makes Byleth feel strange and alien, talking about⌠her emotions. More so the lack of understanding them. She always had Jeralt to turn to for these types of issues, but now⌠she is alone.
âOf course Iâll help youâall of us will always try our best to help you out, Professor. You must believe that.â Any sense of nervousness that is in him is replaced with concern. âYou have helped and saved us countless times, and no matter what the issue is, if possible, I hope I can offer the some consultation, even if it is small.â
Byleth, for the first time in weeks, truly gazes into Dimitriâs eyesâpure and blue like clearwater. âThank you for your sincerity, Dimitri. As always, youâre empathy is boundless.â She canât help but smile at him, but his expression confuses her. Yet another gaze unfamiliar to her, another emotion that she cannot pinpoint.
He simply stares at her with an expression that makes her feel relaxed and sleepy, as if time itself has paused, and she returns his wholly attention.
âWhy do you look at me like that?â Byleth whispers, her eyes searching his face for answers. Pure curiosity is written into her own. Dimitri blinks, as if heâs snapped out of his trance, finally aware of the way he was staring at her.
âIt must be late, thatâs why I was so carelessâŚâ he mutters to himself quickly, rubbing an eye with the back of his fingers. He sneaks a glance over at Byleth, who is still staring at him with innocent curiosity. Redness creeps up his neck as he averts his gaze. âDespite how I may seem, Iâm not very good at expressing my emotions either.â He clears his throat, straightening his back.
âThen maybe we can both learn from one another.â Byleth concludes, exhaling. She returns her gaze up at the endless starbound view above them, watching her breath flutter into the cold, night air. âIâm in your debt, since you are keeping me company so late at night.â Again, she closes her eyes, letting herself feel the coldness wash over her exposed skin.
âThink nothing of it, Iâm simply happy that you are getting fresh air.â He says, leaning over her. She notices the shift in heat as he comes closer, and the shifting of the blanket on her end. His fingers graze against her bare thigh, a touch so slight, but it is enough to make her realize what she needs.
She immediately opens her eyes to see him pulling away, his face flushed and his own eyes wide as he realizes that sheâs staring at him. Before he can pull away completely, she wraps her arms around his neck, drawing him against her. The blanket slips from her shoulders as she presses her head into the crook of his neck, soaking in the warmth that he provides.
He immediately stiffens upon contact, with one arm up in the air, and the other placed against the gravestone to avoid falling completely on top of her out of surprise. His left leg is fit snuggly between her own, the other bent up. Along with the blanket, they were a tangled mess of limbs and cloth.
But Byleth doesnât care, for she appeased the yearning that ached in her chest since Jeraltâs deathâto feel the warmth of another human being in her arms, to not have the last thing she had held in them that of someone who is long gone from this world.
Dimitri does not move a muscleâhe is sure that if he did, he would ruin whatever it is that she discovered. But something warm and wet touches his neck. With the sniffles accompanied by it, he wraps his arms around her, melting into her embrace as her body trembles. The sound of her sobs are quiet against his skin.

đđđđđˇđđ - Pain (Yahiko)
That vibrant orange hair... that face. The last time you saw Yahiko, he died as he fell into Nagato and flat onto the ground as the rain cascaded down on his lifeless body. So, why was he here? Now? [originally posted on my ao3 and based off of my oc]
You cried in the rain as you felt your stomach growl with hunger. The Second Shinobi War left you an orphan.. just a child left to fend for yourself and no adult to care for you. You found yourself digging in dumpsters and stealing food from local restaurants. Your stomach rumbled loudly as you eyed a bowl of rice sitting on the bar of a struggling shop in the heart of Amegakure. You hid behind a bush in the pouring rain as you staked out the establishment, making sure that the owner wouldn't come around and catch you.
When you decided the time was right, you swallowed your fear and took off in a quiet, quick sprint. Quickly you performed a variety of hand signs, "Uma, Tora, U, Tatsu, Saru, Mi." Right eye changing from your typical [E/C] to a shade of deep magenta. Thankfully your seismic ninjutsu techniques aided in your tasks of thieving. You were able to perform jutsus that utilized the vibrations in the Earth and air, giving you the ability to perceive the environment far beyond basic sight. Using a variance of spatial perception, you scanned the area to further ensure no one was around. People appeared like echolocation, their beings displaying like sonar. Threats appeared as red and allies as blue, typically you found yourself sensing those with red, malicious echoes.
A country torn by war and people ravaged by a thirst for blood would do that... threatening even a child if it meant to be a source of release for the anguish. You fought against those who tried to harm you, killing your first human at a young age. Just a kid. You quickly and quietly made your way to the bowl of rice. When your fingers wrapped around the ceramic yet they met another pair. "What the-?!" you yelled out, your gaze meeting that of a set of brown eyes. "Hey, back off. I was here first." a boy with spikey orange hair growled, his eyes narrowed. "Yeah right," you snarled in return and yanked the bowl away, sucking in your lower lip with a gleam.
The orange hair boy leaped toward you but you jumped away and he fell down flat onto his face. You giggled as he pushed himself up and brushed off his knees. But the look in his eyes was the same that you had seen in your own. You could tell he was tired and hungry, just the same as you. However, he barked insults at you, waving his fist in the air wildly.
You sighed in defeat, 'I'm probably gonna regret this...' you thought to yourself. "Look, why don't we share it?" you held the bowl out and it sat in your open palms. His eyes widened as he stopped his yammering and you could sense his guard lowered, his lips turning from hard pressed to a small smile and then into a cheeky grin. His white teeth were the brightest thing in the gloomy atmosphere. Years passed. Jiraiya trained the four orphans that were your group from Amegakure -- Konan, Yahiko, Nagato, and yourself.
The four of your dreamed for a world of peace. Your feelings for Yahiko blossomed since the first troublesome meeting. The two of you shared tender moments, like your first kiss. However, Konan also admired the orange leader of the foursome -- this caused jealous feelings to arise in you.
This caused friction in your relationship with the blue haired kunoichi. She was tender and sweet, her appearance was like that of a doll. You loved her, she was your sister. But you couldn't help but feel envy. Nagato tried to intervene as he wished to keep the peace between the two of you. Konan was aware of the closeness between the orange haired orphan and yourself -- despite feeling envious herself, she wished only the best for her adopted siblings.
The tribulations the four of you endured would last the test of time...
But that kiss, that tender moment... it would outlast any pain.
Yahiko took you out on a scouting mission to get a detailed record of the surrounding landscape of Amegakure for the newly formed Akatsuki. Your orange haired companion practiced sparring with you. He managed to knock you several yards with his Wild Water Wave, coating you in mud and barbs. You yelled loudly in anger and annoyance, shaking your fist. "Yahiko, you asshole!!" you wiped thick mud away from your forehead.
The male ruptured in a fit of laughter, doubling over and holding his side. Your face grew red with embarrassment and you took off in a sprint away from him. His laughter halted immediately when he noticed you had taken off in a fit. You rushed to the bank of the large lake that surrounded the area and stripped yourself from your cloak.
Only dressed in your mesh bodysuit, you quickly dipped into the cool river and began washing yourself of the thick mud. Splashing the water into your face and plucking the burrs from your hair, frustration boiling over -- curse words flowing from your lips like a geyser. Sounds of footsteps caused you to cease your blabbering and turn around quickly.
"Ooooh, Yahiko, you pervert! Quit peeping on me and just leave me alone, damnit!" you shook a fist in the air wildly before dropping it when you noticed a flower being held up to you.
"No pervert, just admiring." he held the flower out further, "Here." You hesitated, your face growing warm with a blush.
You took the flower, it was Baby's Breath, your favorite. Despite the constant raining of Amegakure, the little white flowers grew well beside this specific bank. Yahiko rubbed the back of his head nervously, his face taking on an embarrassed look. "Sorry, [Y/N]." his eyes closed for an awkward grin but you took this opportunity to embrace him. You tightly wrapped your arms around his neck and he wrapped his around your lower waist.
The two of you stood in the drizzling rain in silence, just embracing the moment for what it was. You pulled away and stared deeply into his brown eyes. He stared back, you pursed your lips and placed a small kiss on his lips. You could feel Yahiko shudder for a moment which caused you to pull away to try and take a step back, however, he reeled you back in. He cupped your face in his calloused fingers, his eyes examined your face as his irises darted around your features. He closed his eyes and pulled your face to his, then he kissed you deeply. It was a moment that lasted a lifetime. However, That dreaded day...dreaded night... it forever haunted your memories and soul.
The other Akatsuki members which included yourself but not Konan, Nagato, and Yahiko were all asleep after a relaxing afternoon of drinks and food. Kyusuke woke you with a yell, yammering loudly about where Yahiko and Nagato had gone off to. The entire group and yourself sprung into action to rush to their aid. However, two adversaries stood in your way and didn't allow any to pass. "[Y/N]! Go!" Kyusuke cried out as he was willing to sacrifice himself to allow you to aid your friends.
You hesitated but he insisted, you performed the hand signs for your environmental vibration melding. With an intense concentration of chakra in your core, you can meld into the vibrations that occurred in the air or water. Evaporating into nothingness and able to traverse the battlefield in invisibility. You were exhausted by the time you reached the trio, Konan was being held by Hanzo up on top of a cliff.
You took off in a sprint and nearly tripped over your feet on the slick ground in a desperate attempt to reach Nagato and Yahiko. But you were too late. You watched as if it happened in slow motion...Yahiko thrust himself into the kunai that Nagato had in his grasp. Your knees buckled and you fell in tandem with Yahiko's lifeless body, screaming out his name. You fled from the two remaining orphans and decided to travel the world; made the decision to run from the pain versus do something about it.
You wanted peace and for a world without war and pain but the pain you felt inside overpowered any pride. You found yourself lodging in Konohagakure for several months, to keep a low profile. Attention was the last thing you wanted. You had committed your fair share of crimes in each village, just to try and feel something again.
It seemed fruitless and it crossed your mind often how long you could continue on like this. Even after meeting a handsome Konoha Tokubetsu Jonin named Genma, it was hard to get close because you just feared the pain. The Jonin was willing to share the pain with you but you refused to allow him to dig deep enough to know the truth of Yahiko and the other two Ame kin. Just when you were ready to call it an end.. An unlikely visitor appeared at your lodge's window late one evening...
Tap, tap, tap... Tap, tap, tap...
A light tapping at your window drew your attention and you pushed yourself up from lying down, then slowly walked toward it, noticing a white paper origami dog. "Hmm.." there was only one thing you could think of when you opened the window to grab the object. "Impossible." you whispered, remembering your blue haired female compatriot. You held the origami dog in your palm, bringing it closer to your face as you studied and examined it; it looked like her work, her jutsu. A faint sound of hissing came from the paper and you realized what it really was. A paper bomb.
You cursed loudly as you attempted to throw it out of the open window and into the city below. But you were too late and flew backward from the force of the explosion. The windows exploded and glass flew like shrapnel into the room. You shielded your face with your right arm, shards of glass embedding their sharp edges into your skin. As you lowered your arm, you noticed two figures now standing in front of you but their identities were concealed by the white smoke. Once it cleared and you recognized the two, your heart skipped several beats. You could feel each thump in your head as the world around you grew still.
Blue haired female. Orange haired male. It couldn't be. No. Impossible!
Your eyes blinked several times quickly as you tried to make sense of what you were seeing. "Konan? Y-Yahiko?"
"Hello, [Y/N]. It has been a long time." Konan spoke, her voice sounded the same but more mature. You remained on the floor, motionless. It was as if you were seeing ghosts. To her right was a face that you could and would never forget but he was different. His face was littered with black piercings, studs and spikes. He too has matured but it was still the face of the one you admired. However, his eyes were no longer those of the warm brown but that of the Rinnegan. Nagato.. he had those eyes.. where was he?
Maybe he was dead and gifted Yahiko them as you've heard of the process before. You wished to see the red haired boy again but you needed to focus on the two that were here now. "[Y/N]." Yahiko's voice was deep and modulated, not the silvery voice of his younger days. "I-I watched you die," you sobbed as your eyes welled with tears but you hurriedly wiped them away to avoid your weakness being shown.
"There is much to discuss, we may assess it later." he lent out his right hand down to you. His fingernails were painted mahogany, his thumb had a white ring. You hesitated to accept his offer but nonetheless you did with a shaky hand; he took it with a firm grip. "Yahiko, I-," he raised his free hand to interrupt you, "Pain." Hmm, odd. Things were odd and not exactly adding up in your head but you chose to put that thought into a different place.
Your mind was scattered with hundreds of thoughts and sensory overload was imminent. You looked over to Konan who gave you a small smile, placing her hand on your shoulder. Paper surrounded the three of you and then you were gone. It felt almost nauseating to feel the rain of Amegakure again. It had been longer than you realized since you been in your homeland. You fled soon after the "death" of Yahiko. Defecting from the Village Hidden in the Rain and becoming known as a missing-nin.
As you traveled between villages, you met shinobi from all walks of life. Little did you know you would see some of them later in your travels and become well acquainted. You came to know each village fairly well as you spent several months in each, under a different guise each time. Konohagakure being your favorite -- Sunagakure was your least. (it made using your ninjutsu difficult as the sand on the ground and in the air made everything "fuzzy")
But home was indeed home, the rainy village felt as nostalgic as it did sickening. Konan used her paper jutsu to whisk the three of you away and dropped off at Pain's Tower. The location was his base of operations and where he and Konan resided on off hours. You stood before a massive tower that dominated over the already tall buildings of the industrialized village. You looked up to try and see its point but the rain dripped into your eyes. You hadn't realized that Pain was not with you and it was just you and Konan.
She touched your shoulder, "Come." her arm dropped from your shoulder and she silently led you into the metal skyscraper. It was dark inside. Long hallways stretched in different directions. "Pain wishes to speak to you," she pointed up, "Atop of the tower." She turned away and walked into the darkness, leaving yo to travel the halls yourself. Gee, thanks. Of course it had to be all the way up there. You hated heights and winced at the thought of traveling to the top of the massive building. It took some time making your way to the top; you stumbled across more locked doors than unlocked. Finally an archway led to a flight of stairs which spiraled upward.Â
Your stomach turned as you could feel yourself ascending higher and higher. 'Damn those two...' They always found a way to get you to do things you were afraid of as a way to better yourself. Some things really never change - even if the people themselves seem to. You could hear the rain pouring as you reached the final door. Taking a deep breath, you slowly pushed it open to see Pain sitting at the edge of a tongue that was part of the massive face sculpture which decorated the skyscraper. "Pain..." it felt strange calling him by that "name".
His head turned to the right as he acknowledged your presence. You took a step out the door, closed it but remained pressed against the wood firmly. "Are you afraid?" he asked. You chuckled quietly, your tone taut, "Heights aren't exactly my favorite. Remember?" He hummed as he recalled times you were petrified of traversing a mountainside. He urged you to continue on then and he would now. He pushed himself up and stood, his gaze not leaving the horizon of the urbanized sprawl. Pain teleported from his original spot to directly in front of you. His presence felt intimidating.
You trembled for a moment as you could see his chest rise and fall from beneath the black cloak decorated with red clouds. He raised his hands and rested them on your shoulders, giving them a firm squeeze. Your gaze raised from his chest to meet the Rinnegan eyes that he now possessed. They studied you, irises dilated and constricted as he processed his thoughts in silence. It was as if he could sense the insecurity that you felt. It was like you were in the grasp of a stranger. He pulled you into an embrace and his arms felt powerful as they held you. No longer that headstrong teenager.
But an established man with an ambition -- and a man of great power. It took several moments before you embraced him as well. You wrapped your arms around his sturdy frame and breathed him in, hoping that it wasn't just a dream. You closed your eyes and a smile formed on your lips, a small tear forming in the corner of your right eye. A swift brush of wind stirred you from your brief moment of delight. Your eyes opened as you were now facing downward and over the edge of the building.
You couldn't see the ground as it was hidden underneath a blanket of fog from the downpouring rain. But the only thing that kept you from plummeting to your death was Pain's grip on the back of your shirt. He was dangling you over the edge and one slip of the hand would mean your end. You swallowed your scream but fear still coursed through your veins as your breaths turned shallow and quick. "Do you trust me?" Pain asked.
Nonsense sputtered from your lips as the ground seemed to warp in and out. Just when you thought it was going to be all over, you felt yourself being reeled back up and onto the solid platform landing. "No." you barked as you wiped your face of the rain. He hummed in amusement which you reacted to with a shove. His body did not budge from where he stood. You continued with the shoves as frustration built up and was starting to be released. Several times you spat out insults as to how could he be alive the entire time and not try to find you or give you a sign.
You summoned your chakra in your palms, the seismic blasts pushed Pain back and slammed him into the wall. Konan felt the rumble from inside the building and looked up, curious as to what was going on but refrained from interfering. She knew it needed to stay between the two of you. The man shrugged off the blast as if were like a prod from a child and pushed himself out of the impression created in the wall. He brushed off some debris from his cloak and huffed in annoyance, "I can sense that. But I assure you, [Y/N]. I waited for a reason. I need you to trust me." There was a moment of silence before he continued, "I wish to continue our need for peace but no longer by the means of prior philosophies." he paused as he took several steps in your direction, "Only by means such as direct experiences of anguish would anyone truly want and strive for peace."Â
"That is why I dangled you over the edge. Only direct action gives honest results. Often the ones we do not wish to hear." His hands touched your shoulders again and his thumbs rubbed the skin of your chin, "I wished to hear you do trust me, however, that is not realistic at the time." Pain stretched a hand out and swept it along the skyline of Amegakure. "I am a God. No longer a man. My words and thoughts have become absolute." The hand still on your body grasped your chin lightly and his gaze returned to you, "I wish to have you aid me in this conquest. World domination. And there is no other that I wish to have by my side.. than you, [Y/N]." A shocked expression displayed on your face and your pupils dilated at his speech.Â
"This world shall know pain. As you and I have both felt." Pain pressed his forehead against yours, the cool metal of his forehead protector brought goosebumps to your skin. His Rinnegan burned through your eyes as you processed his words. "I knew I needed you now and not then. I will make it up in the future, I promise. But only if you wish to be my kin once again, [Y/N]."Â
You raised your right hand to his cheek, your thumb brushing against the cool metal of his labret piercing. "Yes."
